Anyone 7 everyone trying to belittle India?
by trader on Jul 27, 2011 07:24 PM  | Hide replies

Now a days everyone and everyone is trying to belittle India's dominance in World Cricket - both financially and on field!Geoff Boycott,Michael Holding,Arjuna Ranatunga, another former english captain..the list goes endless!!They are fuming ...just because India dominates world cricket today and decisions are taken as per its convenience!Whats wrong in that?Till the other day England and Australia were the two Veto holding members of ICC and all others were like ordinary members of UN,can talk but very little weight for their words! Now everyone is crying because it's India and not England-Aussie duo who are dominating!India can react appropriately,as I am sure BCCI will,by showing all these former cricketers who's the Boss?

Simple Solution - If you think that they are playing foul, why the hell you are there? Stop playing with them and come back to home , else don't complain and cry. Playing with them and complaining can't go together. Indian team is not there for nation's pride, but to make sure that they play matches to make money through advertisements.

pradeep agarwal - did you read below

even ex-england captain Hussain limited his comment to cleverness of Peitersen in using DRS. that technology like F-16 is not invented by indian and we dont know all the glitches of it to take advantages of it.
SO WAKE UP AND YOU READ DRS or you are angrez impersonator here.

Technology..a leveller

The fact is that any nation that commands power will be "favoured", however subconsciously, by umpires. After all umpires also have to earn a living.Remember how it was in the sixties when English umpires ruled the roost..or for younger fans see how many decisions went Australia's way in the nineties.Ricky Ponting just could not be dismissed lbw when he began his innings!
Dont jump on Dhoni..he knows he has been blessed..a guy with limited talent is being hailed as the best Indian captain of all time..jeez..give me another.
Why would he agree to anything that breaks the honeymoon? Actually, the problem lies with the fans
as they have hyped a bunch of gillidandites into believing they are the world's best cricketers..and George Orwell's 1984 has to be played out.

Billy Bowden, Simon Taufel, Davies are umpires bribed by BCCI. They never give LBW to Indian batsmen, particularly to Tendulkar.

Are you JOKING, DRS without LBW has already damaged India. Look at the cleverness.

Peitersen used referral to full benefit to get a double century. Peitersen turned LBW into a nick and asked for referral.

then, dravid catch was turned down using replay (they could have changed angle of camera if it were angrez).

Peitersen USED PADS TO NUDGE A BALL HITTING THE WICKETS and AT THE SAME TIME USED THE BAT to show it was a nick.
then, cleverly called for DRS because bowden turned LBW into a snick (a catch situation). thus peitersen TRICKED THE LAZY AND UNFIT INDIANS who are made unfit by their useless coach and fitness experts.
angrez are tactical as well as cheats. used the dutch players cleverly and yet
prepared themselves using international players. you can see stuart broad was
imitating indian players action (bowling and batting ) to show how angrez planned to
beat it.

===

on top of all this, how did the angrez make the pitch give un-even bounce when indians played. did they sprinkle some metal mud with same color as the lords soil.

Y r commenting without proper understanding of DRS.Indian team lead by Dhoni is unable to make use of technology properly as they don't have the understanding or desire for it.The world body has been unduly favored the spoiled child by allowing partial use which is absurd to please a captain who unfortunately has poor record with DRS.

In first test match Indian team did not use DRS at all. That shows their fear about the system, and isolation from rest of the International cricket.

Actually Mr Dhoni is the receiving end for not using DRS for LBW. And Tendulkar is the biggest beneficiary of it. He survived once in each innings , thanks to Mr Billy Bowden.

I don't know what they are thinking. When each and every country supports it, why should we be different? If we have to be different, do it by way of contribution and not standing in the way of innovation.

DRS
by PARAG MULEY on Jul 27, 2011 03:30 PM

This excuse of not having DRS for LBW decisions is absolutely ridiculous. Did Andy Flower meant to say that in the past whenever the team used to win or lose, it was because of poor performance of the umpires and not due to performance of the player & team. Why everyone is so fuusy about the DRS. Perorm to your best to get the favourable results. No excuse for loss due to non availability of DRS.
