India - World Champion
by true fan on Jul 27, 2011 03:01 PM  | Hide replies

Nasser Hussain : India did not reach there in one day. We all know you are jealous. Still you cant digest Natwest final. Moreover India won World cup and we are world champions. England won just one match and every Tom, Dick, Harry is saying England is Number one

when England-Aussie duo had veto rights in ICC,no one objected to their dominance and when India is making the cricket world to dance to its tunes, every Tom has objection!!It was their time then and its India's time now, whats there to cry and shout?Coming to Cricket on field,One match loss is not everything and India has 3 tests to play!!Knowing India, its hard for England to come any where near #1 Rank in Tests!!

Whats hurting Hussain
by Avinash on Jul 27, 2011 02:36 PM

The real issue that Hussain is hiding is
1) IPL success and no-digestion of India winning WC

2)India gave a fight in spite for being down with critical players it was India with 10Men or even can say 9men VS 11English 3 Umpires.

But its good give some more bashing Hussain u may have just woken up the Sleeping giants

Inadequate?
by coolboy on Jul 27, 2011 09:35 AM

India is not prepared at all...

They all wanted rest and vacation before they get sick in England so that they can extend the vacation.

dhoni moron
by samit on Jul 27, 2011 08:19 AM  | Hide replies

every dog on the planet knew he should have started ishant sharma after lunch immediately which would have given us a chance to win. Instead kumar (who shouldn't be in the team) and bhajan (washed out loser) gave up a big partnership.. and ishant came in later and took wicket but it was too late.

Dhoni needs to stop acting like a smartazz and make simple decisions without haste.

Samit:i agree with all ur points, but one point of urs i couldnt understand, why u dont want praveen in the team? i mean he is bowling good from the time he debuted, even in the first test he picked a 5 wicket haul in the chronic of absence of zak so what's the problem?

GANESH KALYANSUNDARAM
india underprepared
by GANESH KALYANSUNDARAM on Jul 27, 2011 07:55 AM

To an extent I do agree with Nazir Hussain's comment. It is a fact that some of the players have not played test cricket for sometime and it would have been idle that BCCI should have had some warm up matches for players who did not go to west indies. Moreover the best preparation is to play in the middle. While Zaheer is a great bowler but if he is injury prone it is only weakening the team composition and this is not happening for the first time. WE had a great chance in the second innings and only if we had the fourth bowler things would have been different. It is better to have a fully fit player than a person who may not be fully fit

IPL and Test Cricket
by Syz on Jul 27, 2011 06:21 AM

I think IPL and test cricket both should be encourage at the same time. It seems like T20/IPL and one days are being endorsed in India more than any other sports. This should change otherwise India should stop playing test matches.
