Rahul.....Congratulations....We all knew that you are a great cricketer. But you have gone on to prove that you are a gem of human being. You are certainly modest in you admission that if any cricketer who has played as many test as you have would have been able to get so many runs. This is what makes a hero . Wonderful jammy....Yourself, srinath,Jumbo Kumble, and venkatesh Prasad, together, have done wonders . Indian cricket, as it is, today, is because of what you did yesterday..... Gavaskar, Visvanath, Farooq Engineer, Ghavri, Umrigar, Borde, Amarnath (Father and Son), Manjrekar, Bedi,Chandrasekhar, Prasanna, Jesu Patel, Ramakant Desai, Kapil, Azar, Manjrekar (Father and Son), Pataudi, Venkat, Vengsarkar, Kirmani, have all contributed to Indian cricket in a big way....I salute all of them...Sundara Raghavan

Dravid will need to play a similar innings in next two days to give India a realistic chance of saving the Test,

Yes, they have just changed cricket rules to extend the lord's test to 6 days instead of regular --- days so people like you can see Dravid bat for the next two days.

Keep it up Dravid , our gem

Poor Dravid always on the receiving end. A class of his standard is tough to match. Challenging England in the home ground of cricket is in itself is a big task. Only one difference this time. The sweat was missing and Dravid was super cool when he scored that last 2 runs to finish the century. Keep on Dravid , the country is with you.

I think the batting legend you are talking of is next to DRAVID when it comes to test matches, not the other way around! He is a treat to watch :)
