'England wouldn't have enforced the follow-on'

since that day when laxman and dravid batted out the whole day after india was given follow on and ultimately australia lost that test a sea change has come in players attitude towards the enforcement of follow on.

since that test every country is afraid to give follow on if the difference is not very big like 325-350 runs...

if the difference is like 220-250 runs nobody is interested in giving follow on any more....

also too much cricket being played the world over for the last few years the thought of keeping your bowlers fresh and not make them tired has also taken preference...

And about time too!! Tests are too boring. A half hour TV capsule showing all wickets and boundary's is OK at best.
