I am a big fan of ZAK, but this ongoing match i got hugely dispappointed with him. He shoulnt play this match with unfit match fitness. India is in Dire position just bcoz of him.. We played with only 3 bowlers that too with 2 fast bowlers.. we put undue pressure on thm with lots of overload and abv. all gave England an upper hand.
it is to cheat ...to say that 6 out of 10 dismissals of Strauss was against Saheer. Zaheer has been Indias best opening bowler for quite some time and strauss th opening batsman of England. if strauss gets out, there is more than 50% chance for him to be out of Zaheer's ball!

What for India needs to win this series? There is no point is discussing about the Indian Cricket. Thr board does not get endorsed by the Government. They make business out of cricket. The officials are having hardly any sensitivity towards the players except those who are giving returns to the board or may in future provide returns to the board while they perform and board collects the collection money. It is essential that this board wants only milking cows. After their prime the milked cows are just kicked and left for defending themselves. They donot have any policy for improvisation of sports or cricket in particular. Only good players are made to play for their earning and without being taken care of properly regarding their physical conditioning. There will be only few set of politicians will be getting these posts and they will never agree to come under the ambit of governmental control. if they come under governmental control then they will be contributing towards the development to a great extent and managing unaccounted money will become difficult as they may become little more accountable. Bloody these people should gett a full some kick at their butt.
True. Zak is the spearhead of Indian pace attack and this series will be hard on the bowlers unless they fly in Ashish Nehra. I don't know why they are playing Pravin Kumar in the first place.. he is exceptional in subcontinent conditions and has very little experience playing in those conditions. Nehra has the pace, bounce and the guile to outdo most English batsmen. Zak will be surely missed if he is truly out of this game. I hope they don't replace Zak with Munaf. If they want Munaf in the side, they might be better off dropping Praveen Kumar for now.

I don't think so. Nehera cld nt be the right choice. NO fitness and fielding Coming on bowling cant depend. Praveen Kumar is a nice decent bowler who can be relied upon. Lets give him a chance. But our selectors are great ones wat they do , only they can know it.

Munaf is junk. He should be kicked back to his farmhouse in Baroda or wherever he belongs. Munaf is not fit for test matches where he is required to bowl 20 to 30 overs. At best Munaf can bowl only 15 overs. As for getting wickets that is a tall order.

If you say Munaf is junk, and you need to bowl less than 15 overs to get wicket, then u must beplaying and understanding computer cricket. He is as fit as anybody, and he is th eonly bowler who does not loose his speed even after bowling 20 overs unlike others currently in the team....

Pravin Kumar is not searing fast, he is a controlled bowler, who has the ability to swing it both ways, with overcast conditions pravin is natural choice and a good ally to Zaheer... and if he hits his rythm early, he can devastating.. Nehra is over his best now...he is also not so fir to last 5 days..he can be best used in one dayers, in short spell, as he has an edge over the english for his ability to swing late.
