before completing his 100th ton to prove that he is not record book hungry. Although he says that he isn't and I do want to believe him, but I still remember a series in pakistan where an innings was declared by Dravid which stranded sachin on 194 odd runs and made him extremely upset. On that innings he played extremely slow and India had enough runs to win (which it did) so Rahul was not on fault.
i think that sehwag's absence is realy biggest minus point for india in this series, because he score very fast and give his bowlers opportunity to bowled out opposite team twice, he also mentally disturb the opposite.
I think that indian team always a slow starter in the series, if once england get upper hand in the start of the series than it's very difficult to come back, because they use all tactics to defeat indian team in the series.
Is Sachin's century more important that our victory??? Rahul Dravid n VVS laxman and Sehwag have been our best batsman in toughest of conitions abroad, does that make them a less valuable player than Sachin? Its all media hype...Sachin has been out in 90 so many times only becoz his brain and heart think too much n get nervous about century and not about country....In match winner calculations he doesnt even feature in top 30 lists....so whats d use of those centuries???

ok! Let us get some facts straight. First and foremost Rahul, Sehwag, vvs are less VP than Sachin? Yes. Period. Sachin has got out on 90s 17 times and out of which India would have won close to 15 times. Open any site containing stats and query how many times in his 99 centuries India lost. Guess what? You will understand, if you want to, that India had won more than 60% of the times. That, yeda bhai, is single biggest point you can never beat. Stop assuming some top 30 lists of baseball and assume it to centuries. You people are such bunch of low lying pathetic thugs who want to just smear dirt on everyone. Let me tell you something else, Bradman is a peevy before Sachin.
