@Manoj Kumley: Instead of Mukund, get back Wassim Jaffer or Deep Das Gupta or Ajay Ratra :). I dont know from where u get such brilliant ideas. And I am not sure about Sreesanth. Anyway, Dhoni will prefer Sreesant for his contribution in WC-2011.
I think Yuvraj should be given a fair run in tests.He is a special talent and you need him once couple of the seniors get retires in 2 years time. He didn't get a fair run tests till now. It will be a great unfair to his talent and a loss to indian cricket if his talent goes unutilised now. I think Raina can wait for another 2 years to become a permanent member of test team.

What an irrational statement. There are dozens of talented players who do not get a single chance. So what? All the current players should retire?
And why should Raina wait? Because he is young? Do you know how old Sachin was when he got his opportunity?
Better players plays. Its as simple. We are not out there to be fair but to win.

Raina in place of Sachin is the best for future cricket. Every Indian knows that Sachin is playing his own records. Let the upcoming youngsters come and play for TeamIndia. Selectors should activate your brain never late than before.

The pitch was an easy one, and Somerset has hardly any bowler in their side who could dish out the so-called chin music to the batsmen, which is a certainty during the course of this series. Yuvraj is much more capable of handling the short-pitch stuff, and also has the experience. I believe the team management would take all these into consideration while selecting the final eleven.

u mean on easy pitch with no bowler of substance yuvraj couldnt score a run should given chance ahead of raine who scored a century...
If i was Dhoni...i would pick yuvraj instead of mukund and say paaji,u r getting 2 tests where u can enjoy...go show hell to England bowlers...and then u shall be a regular in tests for the great show in 2011 worldcup...kick...

hr you dont know cricket. If u distrub opening combination thus sucide. If mukand and gambir batted 50 run opening partnership. Then this will help dravid, laxman, sachin to forum
drop dhoni, the useless flower vase....then all problems will be solved...also do not raise the bogey of captaincy...ANY1 can captain this Indian side...as for WK, it's time we tried someone else

Harbhajan is not the same spinner he was. Raina and Yuvi can do as much spin as Bhajji does, and are better batsmen obviously.
