No doubt two separate balls of same type could be supplied
by D S on Jul 17, 2011 09:52 AM

angrez are tactical(imported petersen, etc) and techno-savvy for utilize it to maximum for their use.

one with extra grease tanning on the leather.
another one india plays with no grease.

Or, there is something much more fishy.

Laxman talking too much ....
by nirmalya thakurta on Jul 17, 2011 09:16 AM  | Hide replies

His average says why he was dropped during the late nineties .... now, since he is performing he is a regular. It seems now that he is trying to target Ganguly for his failures in the past. Stupid fellow!

Ganguly was a non-playing captain in tests for most of his captaincy. Laxman was far better than him in tests (for one, Laxman can play short-pitched bowling, and pulls at will). Yet, Ganguly would send himself at #5, and Laxman at #6, rather than the other way around. And of course, Ganguly wouldn't drop himself. He's no Mike Denness. Chappell might've been lousy overall for Indian Cricket, but I credit him for getting rid of Ganguly in tests. It's too bad they had to go give his protege -- yuvraj -- his slot as opposed to someone more worthwhile, but at least Yuvi can field. Maharaj would only chase the ball if it suited him.

we need to have another chappel type personality to get rid of another non performing politicain like dhoni in test. it will do even better for Indian cricket.
Dhoni is even worse than ganguly as a batman but yes in politics he scores over ganguly

you are a stupid person Mr.Thakurta. Just because Ganguly is a Bengali, he got away fearing the ransack of the co Bengalis. Honest servant like Lakshman couldn't manage because he has no public support.

Since you are so beholden to averages, please look at Ganguly's average after 2002 (esp. after removing Bangladesh and Zim), and see how it justifies his presence in a team in which almost everyone else has 50 average. Nah, too inconvenient... The advantages of being a (non-playing) captain.

same applies for dhoni also.
If u remove his avg on subcontinent pitches- it is less than 30 in all format of game.
He is another non performing & eevn bigger politician than ganguly

INDIA SHOULD NOT USE CRICKET BALLS SUPPLIED BY ANGREZ.

india should not use cricket balls made in england. CANNOT TRUST ANGREZ FOR ANYTHING.

neither can we trust their UDRS system or their television broadcast or their advise or assesment.

Angrez never used weapons made by india. All angrezi weapons were made in videsh or in videshi factories in India.

Laxman has been ill-treated
by Mohd Anis on Jul 16, 2011 10:20 PM

Anis: he was in&out of team due to lack of consistency in his early days but after heating 281 against Aussies he is permanent member of team it was his wrong thinking that he was feeling unsecured but due to this pressure he perform so consistently later in his career to become a greatest match winner for India ever

Once he was dropped to induct Yuvraj Singh! It happened in 2006 against Englqand at Mumbai.
India promptly lost that match after dropping about half a dozen catches in the slips, which Laxman could have easily gobbled. In the slips, he is not brilliant, but very safe.

laxman is far superior a batsman than yuvi & raina in test.
But then yuvi & raina are dhobiji best friend & hence any drop in form for laxman will be sucidal & dhobiji will take no cjance to replace him with his friends raina/yuvi
