Real dhoni- coward
by ASHISH KUMAR on Jul 11, 2011 02:42 PM  | Hide replies

I don't undersatnd why people are surprised.
It is real dhoni always coward & having lack of confidence.
He is always selfish & plays for records.
He knows that he is in test team in name of captaincy & on playing ability he will never get a chance to play in test team(especialy overseas tour- schck his last 6 series records).
Hence no way he wants to loose the test as it will affect his position & all of his signed contract

Mr. Ashish it's test cricket , not 20-20....! U r allowed to bowl way out side the off stump, & the leg spinner can opt for negative line if captain thinks that match is going out of hand.. All decisions are need to be taken considering the overall situation, it's always easy to critcise or comment sitting in a AC ROOM... with mug of coffe in ur hand...

Then y the Indian captain didnt even try to win the match??? He could have at least try to bat the next 10 overs... Do you think this Indian line up will be all-out in 10-15 overs? If 1 or 2 more wickets fall early, then they could have batted the remaining overs cautiously...

It dpends on the situation or the kind of pitch one is playing. You are right:we were risking a series by chasing the target. But this cd have still been achived if we had shown more ofa postive approach and killer instinct which we lacked. There is lot of diff between being the no 1 side and dominant no 1 side which cd be only achived if u go for the kill and take up challnge. No 1 side shdnt be hapy with 1-0 win, rather they shd be dissapointed of nt having scorea 3-0 white wash.

Listen we were without gambhir, sachin, viru, the top rated batsman..Had we had any two of these we would definitely have cahsed the target...

Remember it was a second string Indian team....no a third string.

exactly...a 2nd sting Indian side is also expected to win easily against the WI, given their current plight!

All Indian cricket fans are surprised by the stupid decision.

Better to get defeated than playing like cowards.

Indian team played like cowards.

Why ?
by Chaturchuramoni Chatterjee on Jul 11, 2011 02:27 PM

Because this is not T20, you can bowl well wide of stumps making it impossible for the batsman to hit, and that still would be a legal delivery. Scoring 4 runs an over in a test match (that too in thr 5th day) is not same as scoring 4 runs an over in a T20 match.

dhonis decision
by DHOLAKIA KASHYAP on Jul 11, 2011 02:21 PM

if u can score 90 runs in 8 overs in ipl and here u r surrendering a chance of 86 runs in 15 overs! if this would hv been a case with csk, what would have been the reaction of franchise? sack dhoni and fletcher for atleast one test as a penalty for deshdroh...they turned cowards! why ,we dont know!it smells fixing? oh no not again!
