no. of overs bowled...

would be interesting to see..it may so happen when there are no other bowlers one bowler might have to take more load(ofcourse it requires stamina, but this situation helps spinners than fast bowlers)....this way I feel Muralitharan is lucky, as during his time no other bowler was not really lethal except on few occasions..I remember him bowling 40-50 overs in each innings most of the time..same with anil kumble and shane warne..Fast bowlers are disadvantaged this way

You are wrong. You need to apply pressure from one end to reap benefits from another.

IF you don't have a quality bowler(s) applying pressure from the other end, the batsman just need to see you off and concentrate on other bowlers.

But in the case of Murali, it was not so. He took his wickets genuinely through own skills and pressure building tactics. Of course SL has/had excellent fielding ability and good bowlers like Vaas, but Murli won many battles for SL single handedly.

McGrath already did and also overtook him. But from the way Walsh conducted himself on the field, he is way ahead of the Aussie.

Had kapil dev played in any other team say for austraiia or england he would have crissed 600 wickets.
1. he bowled in atleast 50 % of matches in the lifeless tracks in india.
2. no support for kapil at the other end.
3.the indian umpires due to fear never give even perfect lbw decisions , i remember many times people like border & richards got away which will be a straight forward decesions for umpires like dicky bird or shepherd.

You are looking at top-12 in the world, and still complaining about Indians that made it to that list, saying that there is something wrong in their accomplishment?

This is the attitude, that brings down the productivity of billion Indians. Why can't we just congratulate or keep our mouths shut?
