Re: too much dependence on gambhir and yuvi and new openers

pragyan ojha should not be left out for england for test matches.
not planning when zaheer and sresanth fades. new bunch of pacers and spinners and batsmen should be developed.
Before anybody else makes a decision on what will happen to Tendulkar the player himself has to have a good long look into the mirror and decide what he's trying to achieve in the game. At the moment he looks like a player trying to eke out a career; build on a glittering array of statistics. If he really is playing for that reason and not to help win as many matches as he can for India then he is wasting his time and should retire immediately.
If Tendulkar had found an honest mirror three years ago and asked the question; "Mirror, mirror on the wall who is the best batsman of all?" It would've answered; "Brian Charles Lara." If he asked that same mirror right now; "Mirror, mirror on the wall should I retire?" The answer would be; "Yes."

He is the third choice. After Zaheer and Munaf. By the way, he is the same bowler who made Ricky Ponting cry with bowl (in Australia) and bat (in India).

Nothing...your comments doesn't seem to pertain to the point which I put forward. Where the heck did I mention Ricky Ponting, or any other player for that matter???

So who else in your opinion is faster than Ishant Sharma in the current Indian team? Praveen Kumar? You probably did not understand the meaning. Pace spearhead only means the "main" pace bowler of the team.

@Akash Nair: Being faster doesn't mean you are the spearhead. Brett Lee was much faster than McGrath, but the latter was Australia's pace spearhead. India has a pace spearhead, and that is Zaheer Khan. Ishant can just be a substitute bowler at the best.
I guess Praveen Kumar did it purposefully. Just make sure that he come out as a leading wicket taker of the series once this joker Ishanth gets out of the playing eleven due to injury.

U are giving too much credit to dhoni by suggesting that he deliberately drops catches!!!The fact is that he is not a quality keeper although he is a pretty decent lower order batsman.

this paper tiger could perhaps try replacing one of the paper tigers currently in the West Indies.Uninformed criticism is best avoided.

Chitro, criticism should never be avoided and in fact we should encourage uninformed criticism, criticism for the sake of it - this will make us better people in the long run. try it

Surely the uniform doesn't matter and the criticism is more important?

What difference does it make whether you are in uniform or not if you want to criticise?

ashok, srikant's son is a great player - he is actually better than tendulkar - he has so much talent he can hit the ball with a bail instead of a bat. go watch him play
Re: Re: Re: shame to BCCI

he is better than his father - the poor boy is only 12 years old and we criticise him and dismiss him heartlessly

My upper post is for your earlier comments, while comparing Srikant's son with legend Tendulkar
