This schedule is not recently planned. Why suddenly this comments?..If the teams are not given enough matches in league level, these Englishmen and Aussies are first to shout. KP, if you have grown old...pls hang your boots and be wise...

Vohra:
;-)... So Dhoni saying "We would have liked some warm up matches before the world cup" should make HIM hang the boots? Given that even he was aware of the schedule for quite some time... :)
I can't find any difference between an ICC knockout tournament and the present worldcup. All the group stage matches just decide the face off of top 8 test playing nations in the quarter finals(though I would be very happy if Bangladesh/Ireland or afghanistan qualify). It can't be called a world cup in the real sense. There is a rediculous amount of gap between 2 rediculous matches.
Bye the way with white elephants like Tendulkar(atleast 80% of dumb people are waiting for a worldcup from/for him) and the present shameless, undeserving captain of the Indian team in the side even this so called world cup is a distant dream for India....The thing is other talented players have to do a huge amount of work, first to overcome the negative effect of those 2 players and then to win a match.

The best format was of WC 1992. I dont know why ICC allow the minows to participate in show case event. If you see football only qualifying countries can take part in it, similarly in Cricket the best 8 cricket teams should play round-robin before the semis... present format is week and hollow...

;-)... don't worry... ALL the Indian players (including the undeserving captain) will overcome the negative effect of Tendulkar's centuries by creating suitable collapses... :)
