Winning the toss and batting against teams like South Africa and Australia is the most foolish thing in thbe world. Remember, what happened in the World Cup 2003 final. Moisture or no moisture, the Indians should bat first as they dont have the stomach to chase in a crunch match...this is especially true when the other team has a strong pace bowling line-up.

I agree, it was a foolish decision to field first. SA would have been under immense pressure if they would have to chase even 220. Dhoni shud have taken into account history and acted wisely. This is a tactical error costed us match and series.
If it was not for Yusuf Pathan, we wud have lost match by 150 runs. Yusuf's was a incredible innings with awesome hitting.
He should lead from the front when others failed. But what a misery!!! Dhoni never looked like a recognised batsman and Harbhajan was far better performer than dhoni!!! Either Dravid or VVS Laxman is needed in ODI's , atleast to keep one end and apply brake!!! Let the selectors and Captain understand this fact and act upon immediately, or else Team India reaching Semis is beyond Imagination.Take it granted and wait for it to realise, but it will be too late by then!!!
