The more striking part is that he bats down the order. Explains how often we have top order crashes.
we should be happy that a young team did quiet well in SA contrary to expectations.
once sachin, sehwag and gambhir are in, it will become a well rounded unit albeit with some weaknesses like yuvraj and raina in the middle order. but when you have people like yousuf at no.7, and an experienced top order, we should not worry too much.

Yes. And the conditions will be different. Indian will have flat and turning wickets. So,performance in SA will have no impact in India.

exactly. We lost a series 3-2 not 5-0. There are issues related to conditions we are not exposed to normally. Has no bearing on WC. However BCCI should get these guys practice before the next SA tour.

Absolutely.. ppl shd look into the old teams which played in SA. .They had everyone.. Dada, VVS, Dravid n inspite of it, we lost.. I am not degrading just stating that its tough to win there.. Only 2 teams ve won in SA against them in 20 yrs.. But we lost a very good chance.. Little bit better batting would ve got the series!!
unless this match was intended to give match practice for chawla..who hasnt played for a while.... match wasnt give upmost importance..otherwise theres no reason playing so many spinners... attitude of batsman was shocking....felt like they were playing "A"class game at home... nevetheless inida will be diff team in subcontinent..with top three batsman coming back...

Do you have shame for not scoring runs..... I think you must be securing runs for the upcoming IPL and that's why u did not score much runs in South Africa...I wish you do not score a single run in World cup too and then help Chennai Super kings to win the IPL..... "Bloody Looser"

I think Team management should question him about his role in the team..... He should be moved out of the team and let other deserving players to play for India and let him concentrate on IPL and doing TV Advertising.....

hey..hey....when has dhony scored on fast and swinging tracks.... its not his job..he is pure subcontinent batsmen...its follish to expect so high from him.
Skipper individual performance is the biggest factor in the team success. Without skipper individual performance, team can not be successful which is universally correct. Like Australia, Ricky pointing used to perform, team got the successful by his leadership continuously, In South Africa where skipper is success & similarly team has been getting result. During last stage of Sourav ganguly captaincy, he could not perform indidually well, Indian team repeatedly was losing & after all he lost his position. But in our cricket team, Dhoni is worst fielder; neither he is having batting consistency record also one man show cricket skill, nor wicket keeping abilities who has been surviving only on his luck. But now time has expired of his luck to click on right time. He has to perform which is not able to make it by him. But team selection board should be serious on this matter; our team is still balance side. We needs to be change skipper only who should be performed individually & must have one man show cricket abilities. So that other player will be motivated. We have many choices like Shewag, Gambhir and many more. Automatically, team will success & we will able to retain our position in ICC ranking. After all, we should be focused on upcoming world cup also. Sack the Dhoni from the team immediately & let him play into the domestic cricket. Lot of talented all-rounder are already available into the reserve bench. L

Fine.. SA captain?? Smith has been scoring tons n tons right?? Ponting was ok when no pressure.. Now his batting??
I agree Dhoni dint score much.. but why dont u comment on the guys who were specifically chosen as batsmen rather than a guy for whom batting is second priority?? Even 3rd as he is a captain.. WK needs utmost concentration, Captain need to think all the time.. But the batsmen for whom its the only job, dint do anything worthful.. Blame them first n then we can come to Dhoni!!!

Sharma has been once again made to look ordinary, by making him to open, wen is he is not recognised opener and den analysing him as failure for the series..lets judge him wen he bats in middle order!!

Whoever fails he is Dhonis friend?? Who is not Dhonis friend?? Come up with names.. I know default ll be Irfan n Uthappa.. But they as pathetic as the guys in the team now..
1. Why you have decided to field first. 2. Rohit Sharma is out of form as he is in frustration for not being co nsidered for world cup. A bowler can be played in his place and put Kohli for opening. 3 Why you have to bat at no. 4. When you are no more a man who can bat at no. 4. 4 Why you have not given instruction to your batsman to play natural game. 5 Yusuf pattan was sent at no. 7. Still he has justified his roll as a figher. If he can play like this, you cannot do anything after playing so many years.
6 What is your contribution to ODI series.
7 Please step down from captiancy and concentrate on wicket keeping. If not possible, selectors will throw you one day

1. Watch toss part n the predictions by experts. 2. Who is i nthe squad?? Main 3 injured.. Replacement MV not good enough.. 3. Everytime u blame him for coming lower during pressure.. Now he came up. .now also blame.. 4. Every player tried to play big shot n got out except for Virat.. Though they got out, the intention was to play big shot.. What else do u want??
