Dear Sir, It is good that our country's flag flies up. But, sports per se needs to be accorded much much........ much lesser importance. The achievement in question is not worthy of being rewarded with the country's highest award, Bharat Ratna. The achievement has already been more than rewarded. It will be detrimental to give the highest award.
its the habit of indians to give lots of awards and money to media hyped cricketers before world cup... and burn their effigies after world cup.. people forget how miserable they lost in a world cup.. now, on what basis he deserved bharat ratna..only media hype.. look at vishy anand.. last year again he won the world championship.... and still we indians ignores our true hero... and worship media created over-hyped cricketers.
