With Sachin, Sehwag and Gambhir coming back from injuries and Dhoni going woefully out of form and Raina not performing at all, if the top three fail to click in WC we can anticipate pathetic performance coming from India.
I had predicted that Y. Pathan performance in our Discussion Board after 3rd oneday. As my prediction absolutely correct. Through out his innings he played shot as Hurrican, no one even tried to cut, as his shot so poweful just like Hurrican, I also recollect there is one Iceland at S. Africa named Hurrican.
That would have helped instead of this SA trip. The second string team India without Sehwag, Sachin gave SA run for their money. India will win the cup at Wankhede.

Don't blame the team for the captain's failures. Many performed at different stages of the series. Yousuf, Kohli, Zaheer, Harbhajan, Munaf, and even Yuvraj with the ball. The common thread is the continuing failure of the Dhoni and his cemented buddies Raina and Murali. Throw these three out and make Gambhir the captain and all will be well. We may or may not win the WC, but at least under a smart captain, we would aquit ourselves well in the effort department.
1) ULTRA-DEFENSIVE when the opposition is on the mat - even a kid can tell that you need to attack when the opposition is struggling.
2)FIELDING FIRST - Look at the opposition bowling...then look at the Indian batman...many of the batters havent even played test cricket.
3) TOO DEPENDENT ON PART-TIME SPINNERS - This is due to the illusion created by the win of Chennai Super kings in IPL.
4) LACK OF STRATEGY - No special tactice for any batsmen...look at Amla...we kept bowling to his strength outside off stump and he just kept getting runs by throwing the bat at the ball. There were absolutely no short pitched stuff at him... the moment the cricket ball was brought back into him he got bowled and caught behind (by Zaheer and Munaf). However, in the next match no lesson was learnt...we kept giving him lollipops ouside off stump....Amla must be rejoicing at our Indian analyst who just roams with his laptop.
he seems to have cemented his place in the team in both test and odi formats. Has been a decent captain of his Ranji team for some time now. Kick Dhoni out and let him regain his batting form to earn his keep in the team. Get Irfan and Pujara in the team wit Kohli and Yousuf as regulars

I agree. Let Dhoni resign as Captain and exit gracefully for his mistake in fielding first after winning the toss in 5fth ODI and losing the match and series. He also does not score runs and save matches as he used to do. If he does not resign, kick him out before the World Cup. I hope the selectors read these views.

I also agree. Gambhir is future captain. Dhoni initially played well to regain his place in Indian team and to make money. He has earned lot thru cricket and also by advertisement. He is know list bothered if he kicked from captaincy or from team. So lets kick him out and allow youngster who are knowking the doors.
