Sorry as I write this......
by Amjadali Lakhani on Jan 24, 2011 01:36 AM  | Hide replies

For hours I resisted putting my feelings on this board. I am shocked some people take communal pride in the great show by Yusuf. They also vent their hatrade of Dhoni particular and also sachin. Frankly for so many years no hindu writters here tried to prove that it is hindus who win it for India, and here there are some of us, taunting and humiliating hindu community as hindu players faired lass than muslim players...such a shame...tis will enhense the commnal dislike of my community as they will say look the muslim attitude to this game. Arent we not all Indians ? Why such shameless bravado? You may say anyting, I feel this is a shameful behaviour. Same goes with some provincial news sites.

im a south indian too and a very proud one at that, but your comments are outright anti-national, we all got collectively enslaved by the british so lets not brag about who enslaved whom, if anything it is precisely divisive attitudes such as yours that will ensure future enslavement, check your emotions and don't get so carried away.

Uninspiring Dhoni
by Akash Nair on Jan 24, 2011 01:28 AM

Disappointing to see somebody like Raina not able to adjust to the SA conditions. He is talented and one would have expected to see hm come good after a few games. Dhoni on the other hand is in the team just because he is the captain. Time for him to go back to playing Ranji trophhy. Yuvraj was also woeful with the bat but he can at least bowl 8 - 10 overs, especially in Indian conditions. The going is good for Yusuf Pathan and one can only hope he can carry it forward to the WC.

dhoni's batting style is totally funny n his technique is full of flaw. whenever i watch dhoni battng, i belive that even bhajji's style is less funny than dhoni's.

Resign or be resigned to be kicked out
by pawarush@rediffmail.com on Jan 24, 2011 12:49 AM  | Hide replies

Tendulkar and Dravid had the courage and humility to resign from captaincy when they were not delivering. Shame on Dhoni ... he needs to be dropped form the team altogether

yes if Dhoni could become the captain with one lucky century on a dead indian pitch, Yousuf deserves captaincy for life, for all his heroics at home and abroad.

about clueless south african crowd
by antony on Jan 24, 2011 12:47 AM

a crowd, which is mesmerized, clueless with sense of unbelief twinkling in their eyes, they were simply stunned and paralyzed..as Yusuf unleashed a violent counter-attack, which they would have ever seen in their lifetime..thank you Yusuf Pathan for that ferocious and a vehement century
