Australia and Pakistan: Dark horses India and SL are the favourites; S Africa slightly behind. WI team looks good. England is in form. This is one of the toughest world cups ever. NZ is the weakest of 8. The world cup winner has to win 3 matches continuously QF-SF and Finals. Given the tough competition, the winner needs some luck.
With UDRS system in place, Australian team cannot bully the umpires- like they do in the past - to get incorrect decision in their favour. So even umpires cannot help poor Aussies now. Boy, Tait, you will return to Australia with your tail between your legs.
If aussies think they bowl the reverse swings to a good effect,then the same problem they could agains other teams as well wid their out of form batting line up its nt so easy 4 aussies.
Yes the ball will reverse swing on this pitches, but you need to bowl slow on this pitch for reverse swing.. we indians call it as off spin, if it just swings.. we call it as leg spin.
