And India just about managed to beat them with the help of rain.. And Pakistan 2nd string side easily won the series against kiwis..

mr. bruno first try to come at top in test cricket ranking anf then claim any thing , because your comments should have some support on paper with some calculations , again understand cricket is not game of if and but and every match is diffrent , so do not jugde any team untill they play one on one , i a team has ability that will definately get displayed in Ranking .

Just managed to beat them ? India won the 3rd test by an innings if I remember correctly ?
And in the series which happened in New Zealand, rain happened to save New Zealand in the 3rd test, otherwise India should have won it 2-0, instead of 1-0.

FYI - It was because of rain that Kiwis were all out very cheaply in the 1st innings.. We have discussed it earlier.. Vetori batting after winning the toss.. even Kenya captain would have bowled first on that wicket.. so we all know why did they bat first.. simple .. to loose..cause money is more important than winning for cricketers

And in 2nd innings under clear skies they scored 18 runs less than what they scored in the 1st innings.

Dude I am comparing because the so called No. 1 team barely beat Kiwis at home only due to rain.. whereas a 2nd string Pakistan side easily beat Kiwis in their country..

there is two categary of icc test team. in first (top teams)categary is india, sa, england and second categary(lower teams) all other teams. so there is no comparison higher with lower. Jai hind

That was when India had a lead of 400 plus runs.. Even Kenya can win this type of matches.. unless miricles happen. My Point is not the runs but Kiwis even after winning to toss batting 1st..

And FYI.. Pakistan record against Kiwis is better than Indias.. They have won more test series against than India which one after 5 attempts..

That is true. However, for the last 3 years India's overseas performance (series win in West Indies, England and New Zealand, and series draw in South Africa) is better than almost any team.

The point is not only winning once.. but doing it 2nd time.. like how Australia and West Indies did during their stint as No.1... So far we have not been able to defeat No. 2 teams the chokers S.Africa both home n away.. I do not have to say more
