I switched off TV when Yuvraj got out but happy to hear match result in the morning.

Well played Pathan & Bhajji.
Dhoni can only laud matchwinners, when he is going to win matches for India himself?

And What shall be said for Dhoni!

What is the contribution of Dhoni since the time he became captain? Nothing except being a named captain. As a captain he should contribute atleast in area either batting bowling or wicket keeping. He is indeed lucky to have some gun or the other firing in hours of crisis.

since becoming captain dhoni's performance as a batsman has increased.

He himself is a big gun and has fired continuously and consistently.

do you know his stats as a batsman when he is captain? please check before showing your ignorance here.

since he became a captain he is averaging 50 plus in tests (or around 45 runs PER innings for those who make a big issue about his remaining not out, though in tests he has not remained not out so many times). his contribution as a batsman when he is a captain is with a average of 58 runs in tests won by india.

As a batsman in odi he has the highest average, even more than sachin and kohli. he was recognised as no. 1 odi batsman in the WORLD and not just india. His average in winning cause in odi is close to 80 runs!

again for those who think that he remains not out too many times in odi's does not that show how good he is that bowlers find it difficult to get him out?

let me tell these people that his contribution as a batsman in odi is 5801 runs in 156 innings i.e. 37.18 runs PER innings and only Sachin with 17629 runs in 433 innings at 40.71 runs PER innings and kohli with 1583 runs in 40 innings i.e. 39.57 runs PER innings have scored more than him PER innings. sachin has batted at position 5 or lower 41 times kohli 3 times and dhoni 123 times! STILL dhoni has scored more than 5000 odi runs in LESS
innings than sachin.

But people whose eyes and brains don't work will never be able to understand this!!

If india win the WC (I prey and hope) then Dhoni or Sachin will be "Man of the Series"...
and Dhoni will remain the captain till next WC atleast.

yes, whom to use in which situations, mental tactics best so far any indian captains with never say die attitude.so if he don t perform he shud be kept captain,he performs 40-50 runs butonly people want big 100 swith his awesome hitting shots are missing due to lots of responsibility,so in WC 1 mistake shud not cost us dearly,so pla. wait and watch, afterall dhoni, sachin all r indians.

So long India is winning under his captaincy, I donot mind his individual contribution. But of course his contribution in scientific captaincy.

Dhoni forgot his natural game

Why Dhoni has forgotten his natural game. When he arrived he was a hard hitting batsman now he is a Lollipop Batsman. He forgotten all his natural shot making abilities. Now he has earned lot of money.

He is better than the current form of indian players like sachin, dhoni, sehwag and yuvraaj.

Highly underrated and a Great Match Winner, should be a number three in batting position.

Well done, yousuf, may god bless you,

Vinay
