hasn't been too many major disappointments

Ricky said: through my career, luckily, there hasn't been too many major disappointments..

while there were players like McGrath, Warne, Hayden to support australia...

Ricky's captaincy has proved that captaincy is not everything. As cricket is not the game of individuals but still each individual has to perform good to win matches that India is doing since months and that was doing Australia.

Ricky was lucky cause of other better australians.

Right, earlier he had legends like Warnie, McGrath, Haydos, Gilly, etc who could turn a match on its head in a thrice. He just had to captain them and they did the rest. Current team needs to be motivated and very few like Watson, Haddin can be motivated themselves

Jake:

Very rightly said... Just the way Dhoni just has to walk up to the Podium to deliver winning speeches (or excuses, as the case might be).. :)

Australia will reach the semi finals...from there it could be anybody's game. They might have lost against the English in test, but ODI's will be a different ball game. They will come hard, keep watching and biting your fingers

Abey dhakkan, without bowling legends of McGrath and Warne, their bowling attack is not even good as of Bangladeshis.

its way hard for them to reach semis.

sajjano, please think and pray for india win,it will be spinners world cup as indian team selection shows, but what if we have to play in sri lanka ior bangla fast pitches????only our option is injured zaheer, other same balls, same pace,no variations oedeceiving balling tactics, whenever ashish nehra bowls in crunch situtaions,i may die due to heart attacks, same leghht, speed, same boundaries, just proper cuts to balls, hope 3idiot's do chamtkar ke upar chamtkar

Then England will go out before the beginning of the World Cup itself, right? Considering that they couldn't score even against the Aussie attack... ;-)
