Sreeshanth is a good bowler. But he cant able to bowl well in crucial circumstances. Did ever shreeshant bowled crucial overs ? But nehra used to bowl length and bowl well in Crucial match winning circumstances. Also shreeshant omission because of his behaviour in his character in the field. We know what had happen in the test series SA with SMITH. that spoil the reputation of the team.
Shreeshant is a good bowler but he has to be little calm and quit while bowling during crucial times.
Did any talked about the Omission of ROHIT SHARMA ? he is also a good player. but y they omitted

Good and correct observation. One more point is that Sreeshanth should learn to bowl more consistantly. He is very erratic, with too many short pitched balls.
What else would justify the selection of Ashwin when there are umpteen spinners around. And of course Sreesanth being not in Dhoni's chamcha list sealed everthing.

Sameer, Do U know about cricket or do U follow one dayers, Ranji Trophy or at least IPL, then U wont ask such question. Ashwin's selection is nothing to do with Sreesanth's omission. Dont blabber here and show ur intelligence. A cheif selector cannot decide on their own, everyone knows it was a close one between Nehra and Sree and Sree lost it Period. He will get a chance if someone (most probable one pace bowler will) gets injured during the World cup or before the world cup. Take a chill pill

Bro I very much follow cricket and I understand cricket pretty well. Ashwin is not going to starr in the first 11 anyway and there are umptten spinning all rounders apart from Chawla and Harbajan who will be first preference. Then why he was selected??? It should have been either Chawla or Aswin, not both and Chawla was Dhoni's preference. This clearly shows it was to satisfy both Sreekanth and Dhoni

I am sorry to say this Sameer, but your knowledge of the game is very limited and your understanding is less.
Sreesanth is a quick bowler and Piyush is a spinner. Don't say they replaced a fast bowler with a spinner. Maybe it was Nehra a quickie who was chosen instead of Sree and not Chawla the spinner. Get your facts right buddy
