we might loose WC winning opportunity becuase of these two bad selections,
just watch out,
like we were out of 2009 and 2010 T20 World Cups due to bad batting and bowling by RJadeja, he was a main culprit for coming out of 2 T20 WC's.

Dear Madhusoodan in a world class tournament one or two players do not matter much and it is also not certain that they will get a chance to be in playing eleven. So let's hope and pray for the best

actually Rohit sharma's career is spoiled by Dhoni, he was never given chnace to play at perticular position, sometimes he was asked to play at 2 and 3, sometimes at 5 and 6, so they ensured differant situations everytime for him,
playing at 6 and scorring run is very difficult becuase,
he has to take all strike and hit every ball to score otherwise Tale enders will get out quickly, it is not fair to judge one by putting at 6. they shud have given him no.2 or 3 consistantly.
he has already performed at 2 and 3.
he was victim of politics by dhoni and srikant.

Mr.Madhusudoon Dhoni himself bats at No.6 or even at 7 so there cannot be any politics. A player has to play at any place wherever he gets an opporntunity.

feel sad for rahul
by chilluchillu on Jan 18, 2011 03:39 PM

Remember 2003 rahul decided to keep wickets and bat. that was a great help for the team and one of the reasons why we reached the final

Piyush Chawla - Destiny's child
by amit gheji on Jan 18, 2011 03:30 PM

Amit Mishra (with whom Dhoni has some personal problem) and Pragyan Ojha were far better options than Piyush Chawla, who somehow always finds favour with selectors and Dhoni without much performance at highest level to show for.

Robin Uttappa would have been more useful to the team.

Robin Uttappa would have been more useful to the WC team, in view of his guts to bat and hit huge sixes, besides he can open the innings and bat at any no. and also an good
wicket keeper, and played well in the IPL matches and has faced many international bowlers as wicket keeper, and the team diffinately needs an second wicket keeper too.

. Forget it. Jadeja was the worthy successor to Ajit Agarkar.
