Congratulations to Rajastahn first. I wonder How many matches it has won .In the last three matches I just was through by virtue of first innings .This team I do not know how many matches it has actually won . The team is not capable of taking 20 wickets anyway. Lot goes to the piches made which is making a mockery of the game .See Indians the way they are falling short of any decent score in SA in all forms.Brought up in such flat pitches where any one and every one scores .When tested in real conditionsthey invaribale fail.Need to think about the type of pitches and matches we plan to have in Ranji Trophy.Ofcourse the conditions were same for all hence Rajasthan gets the credit.
I would like to see any team win the ranji title except mumbai... congrats rajasthan on the first ranji title. mumbai has won the most times because of politics. now it has been shown its correct place which is the slums.
Lots of Irfan Pathan supporters are angry why he is not selected for Indian team. Why is he not playing for Baroda? How can he walk into Indian team without playing for State team?
based on this report, i will assume that rajasthan are playing with two skippers.. when batting AL Menaria was the captain...while when interacting with the press...kanitkar was the captain.. i wonder if these journalists ever heard of proof-reading ....
Rajasthan won the Ranji Trpohy.Full Credit to Rajasthan Cricket Assosciations.
They Bring Aakash Chopra from Delhi,Kanitkar from MP and Rashmi Parida from Orissa. Infact these players were neglected by thier respective state teams. And all the three plays the most important role to win the title and prove a point.
Bowlers Deepak Chahar and Pankaj Singh also deserves same credit.They were superb thru out the turnament. Meneria,U-19 India caption also played whenever team is in trouble.May be future star of India.
Rajasthan here made a point that even a team with Ellite Group can win Ranji,if in full flow..This will increse the confident of bottom tabled teams....Good Job Rajasthan...

Correction Hrishikesh Kanitkar is from Pune Maharashtra. He was the Maharashtra team captain but Sharad Pawar and the former MCCI Chief Dnyneshwar Agashe quarrel on the BCCI chairman vote made him a enemy of Pawar, Hence he had to leave Pune and play for Rajasthan.

The name Sharad Powar - is a disaster to anything country people game - good Kanitkar lofet the Shani of the nation.

Miten your point i correct.Kanitkar played for both Maharastra and for MP.Infact He played last season for MP.So I mentioned the point.

Miten u r right, but the fact is that Hrishikesh kanitkar played as a profeesional player and also Captain of the MP in the last ranji trophy season so technically he played for rajasthan as an ex MP player,so dilipkumar's information is corrrect
