as he knew from the starting that after sachin got out it was impossible to chase.. so dhoni tried to do the same he does everytime -bat till the end and remain notout whatsoever , so hs average could improve. but sadly for him that did not happen . poor dhoni. o yes india lost the match also.
Team India should need to bat full 50 overs to win the match. SA bowlers will bowl short pitch deliveries only to this Indian team in upcoming all ODI matches, so u need a good puller & hooker of the ball, u can't defend it every ball as everyone did in the test series & first ODI match.
Morne Morkel & Tsotsobe will bowl short pitch deliveries only.
why do we show undue respect and put these players like sachin, dhoni etc as over above others are they not just any other player... why do we believe these people as hero, or so called god ... when they are so fragile and vunerable under pressure...
shame to them as well to those who unnecessary give hype to them

Little boy,what sachin has done in his career,wont be possible for any player to reach in next 100 years.He is BAAP of all batsmen.You r comparing with a kid,Dhoni...

Dhoni is the baap of all captains in India and never lost a test series for the last 2 years since he was made captain. In this area (capataincy and leadership) Sachin is just a kid but he still remains the baap of all batsmen in the world and Dhoni remains to be a kid in this area
India should drop player like Murali vijay & Ashish Nehra for the coming world cup matches. Selection committee should recall players like Robin uttappa / Irfan Pathan for the World Cup.
