the same was suggested by WASIM AKRAM before start of SA tour. you don't want major injuries to your main players while hosting such big event at your den. instead of touring they should have played at home series before the world cup?? looks like BCCI has no thinking except money.

now they atleast know the worth of each player. now play pujara for one dayer, then try vijay, then try whoever
The value of Irfan Pathan was rightly gauged by the IPL franchisees and not by these dogs .... selectors, MSD, the lobby working against him and the people who are writing against him on this discussion board.

irfan carrier has been destored by the greg chappal first and then by the selectors. He was a good bowler but he was asked to bat up in the order. At that time he started concentrating on batting and he was flopped in both the conditions. When he is now concentrating on bowling he has been ignored by the srikant and party. This is not the way to treat a player like Irfan

i suppose irfan has some energy left in him after he refused to return from Auz when he found a partner ...
after that, irfan lost his sting and Yusuf got it.

Irfan won't even survive in Mohalla cricket. At that level also there are many bowlers who bowl at more than 120 kph. He bowls only at 110 kph.
Irfan is a better option than Ishant any day. See the IPL money bag.... there were no takers for Ishant when we compare the same with Irfan. There is a certain lobby working against Irfan Pathan.
irfan pathan w ont get aplace inspite of his performance because of M.S.D 's lobby . he w ould prefer under performers like ishant or R.P Singh instead of good players like irfan or Robin

get ur statistics right. People like u do not want that India should win and are in the same lobby which does not want Irfan Pathan back.

I certainly don't want Irfan back, nor does Gary Kirsten. Irfan used to be a very decent bowler, but Greg Chappel tried to make him an allrounder, and now his bowling has also gone down the drain.

irfan can be taken to dogs any day because he has no speed. it is like playing a school kid when irfan cannot get the swing.

There is some definite lobby/politics against Irfan.. He is much better contributor/player than Yusuf pathan, Ravinder Jadeja, Rohit Sharma, etc

Not playing for India is not in any way a loss to them as all the leading players have the IPL contract with them.
