by Another Critic on Jan 10, 2011 11:56 AM  | Hide replies

Here is my WC team

Sachin
Sehwag
Gambhir
Yuvraj
Raina
Kohli/Yousuf/Rohit (in that order Kohli and Yousuf will be included ahead of Rohit)
Dhoni
Harbhajan
Zaheer
Praveen
Nehra

Ashwin, Murali Vijay, Rohit Sharma, Munaf may be included to carry drinks.

It's good India has good talented bunch sitting on the bench.

53 runs is good but not good enough to cement a place in the team
by Another Critic on Jan 10, 2011 11:42 AM  | Hide replies

The number of balls in which he scored the 53 runs does not really matter. It is a good score in a T20 match but not a great score by any standard.

So, Mr. Sharma, you must be scoring 50s consistently. The competition for a place in the team is intense as India has got some good bench strength.

Rohit sharma is a good adviser
by Happy Friday on Jan 10, 2011 10:03 AM  | Hide replies

Well, to me the three players who are not talent but too lucky for staying in the team are
1. rohit sharma
2. Munaf Patel
3. Yuvi (less talented atleast at the moment)
4. Jadeja (our dhoni's gay partner)

If staeyn was bowling he(rohit) would have got out on first over he faced but i feel this year seems to be very lucky for him in IPL auction. Lets see how long he will survive with his marketing skill

Rohit has the talent and technique. His problem is his temperament which has been letting him down from time to time.

Do you really think he would have scored more than 20 runs against 'Dale Willem Steyn' bowling attack?
If you are talking truth you should say 'NO'. And where does his talent?. He is a good advertiser and wont survive in long run. btw, i do not have any personal against him but just writing what i feel

u should be called Unlucky Friday, not Happy friday. He is a great player, just the luck factor was eluding him and from now on he would cement his place for sure.

i wish him play good knock for india but atleast for now i dont see him talented as he think or as he ads. If he is considered for 2011 wc, the selectors r doing a mistake.

Munaf Patel is hugely talented. He is lazy though; also a useles fielder/ batsman. His bowling performance is very good

Yuvi and Rohit are certainly very talented but they don't apply themselves well. Both are match winners and can change the course of the game on their own on their day. Same applies to Robin Uthappa and Yousuf Pathan.

Munaf is okay and certainly must improve to stay in the team. Jadeja is the worst at least for now.

Probably, he does not consider Jadeja as a human. Sir Jadeja is a super human. Team Kochi star- all mallus support him now

That was one beautiful innings by Rohit Sharma yesterday. Reminded me of silky Mark Waugh.

Yes, you are right...But I am dissapointed, as he is not utilising his talent properly. He needs to talk to Dravid or Michel Hussey...
