They are poor are rich we have seen in the Auction. Still they are one of the strong contenders for the tittle of IPL4.

Let Srinivasan resign from BCCI post and then we will see how good they are in terms of retaining of picking up players. He has unfair advantage of holding double position and first hand information.

People should support their team and respect the opponent as well.Abusing is not the way 2 go.We r all indians,so plz dont fight being just a "northee" or "southee"
mumbai indians and RCB wasted him in middle order...kallis and sachin played very slow for MI and RCB and they wasted uthappa in middle order...hope pune realises this...
Its proved now , IPL is nothing but the Juaariyo,ka,adda, no emotions, only money, A delhi player is playing from Kolkata and Punjaab player is plying for KOchhi.
to fukk them all i am going to support KKR this time

What about a Bengal player (Ashok Dinda) playing for DD this time? IPL is just glamourised gully cricket. Where do the question of supporting comes from? You better support your national team or your Ranji & Duleep trophy teams. You see real cricket there.
Re: RCB

You too Samiksha??? What good team all are above 30 and who is the match winner in that side?? Vettori - waste Tishan - long back itself he forgot his batting AB de - open secret what he has done for DD Zaheer - can perform but wont get support from others Kaif - oh my godness No doubt last place is secured for RCB.
It is very bad news to Karnatakian's. Vijay Malya has played dirty politics during the selection. Malya will feel the real pain in IPL4. All the best to RAHUL DRAVID...Hats up dear..Kannada fans will support you and the team which is giving respect to your talent.

@ SKM, yaar what politics? It's his money and he better knows where he wants to spend it! If you have to put your money you too will be cautious about all this. And, why are you taking it this way that RCB didn't support Dravid. Mate, Dravid is now in the right side. With Warne, he'll get more respect then before!

This time Chennai will not make it to semis, it has lost some of the fizz that made it a good side the past 3 years

Even then, they have reached their peak and will fizzle out, that is the law of nature. Some other team, this time, maybe Mumbai or KKR or KingsXI or even Raj Royals will win it this time. Then u have Pune and Kochi as well

1.It's hard to replace Hayden. 2.CSK has A.Morkel as pinch hitter 3.S.Randiv is a quality spinner
Re: Still Chennai needs
by satish chandar on Jan 11, 2011 02:28 PM
1. Bit tough.. But none can present the aura of Hayden.. 2. The lower order is the same. .By the way Chennai played last time, if Raina/Vijay maintain same form, no need for lower order.. 3. Randiv - Murali's successor for other formats.. He is not as great as Murali.. But every replacement need to start from scratch and perform to gain that experience!!
Can anybody clarify if the amounts at which the cricketers were hired by the Franchicees are per year or is the amount a consolidated figure for a 3 year contract?
Re: Contract amount?
by kaustubh saha on Jan 11, 2011 10:44 AM
They are per year amounts for a 2 year contract. After two years, franchisee and player can extend the contract for the same amount for another year. Hope this clarifies

@ Debo lol..of course, it does mean the same what Saha said above! Lucky guy that Tiwari is, no? Raydu, equally talented guy will have to be satisfied with some 30 lacs only!
I am really glad that Dravid got offer from Rajasthan Royals...Since, RR does not have any specialist batsman in their lineup and dravid's presence will be felt in every match. also, dravid can play his favourite position 1st down and play his natural game..also, if ambiti rayadu and manish pandey would opt RR over other team then it would be good for their future and will get chance to every match and can show their talent!! but in RCB, they have already lined up with lots of indian star players and i doubt they get chance to play enough matches!!!
Re: Good to see dravid in RR
by JAKE on Jan 11, 2011 10:31 AM
Yes, it is great to see two great legends coming on one team, Warnie and Dravid with Watson, Colligwood, Taylor...it makes a pretty good team...then we have Shuan Tait as well. some good local talent will make it a team to watch for in IPL-4
Re: Re: Good to see dravid in RR
by naveen dhanerwal on Jan 11, 2011 11:15 AM
I do agree with you both! Dravid is in right side now. But have anybody noticed something strange in this side? Warne was Aussies captain, Dravid, Indian captain, Taylor, Kivies to be captain, Botha, SA's captain, Colly England's captain! Wow! and..looking at Clark's performances recently, no wonder if Aussies chose Watson over Clark after WC!
