RR

did a foolish thing to buy Dravid who is the most useless cricketer for 20-20 format. His batting lacks aggression, he can not bowl nor he can field anywhere except slips. Kumble is very clever and businesslike to throw his friend out from RCB to save his team.

Wonderful!. Dravid's batting has to have aggression, he has to field in any position and then he has to bowl too !! Wonderful, great logic! Well we saw how Kumble could bat, Kumble could bowl and then field at any position in IPL 3. We saw how Yuvraj could bowl, Yuvraj could bat and field at any position! How Dale steyn could bowl, could bat and bat at any position! How Sachin could bowl, could bat and field at any position! Kumble wouldn't have played IPL ever but for Rahul dravid. If Sourav was the captain of RCB, Kumble would have sat in the stands and applauded for Rajasthan royals.

I was the member of Royal Challenge Fan Club, but not any more. Now, there is no stuff left to be proud of. I hate Mallya. He could have retained Karnataka Youngsters along with Karnataka Veterns, His foolish thoughts have destroyed a good team and the Pride of Kannadigas

None of you know about IPL. This tournament is played in a typical rugby style where veterans have no place. Dravid is great when you look at his old records but now he is only a shadow of old Dravid. He can not play aggressively, can not bowl and even can not filed in any place other than slips. This gross limitation has played role in rejecting him by RCB. They in fact corrected their last IPL blunder to recruit old heads like Kallis, Chanderpaul, Batcher, Dravid who were just liabilities. RCB loss is Steyn and Praveen Kumar only.

did kumble really behind not picking rahul for bangalore!
by kalyan sundar on Jan 14, 2011 11:10 AM

I think mallya has taken the name of jambo for not bidding for rahul's name only for sake of garnering some support from bangalore fans! first of all kumble himself had announced his withdrawl of his name from ipl auction, as there was a hint and chance of bangalore team not bidding for him. he might thought as a president of karnataka cricket association , if he had not been picked up by the bangalore team, it would be a/ become a great humiliating and agonising situation for him. further can anybody expect a president of a huge karnataka cricket association president playing for some other team, other than his own state. he participated in the auction as he is the president of an organisation where by he is expected to groom youngsters of that particular region. dravid on his part has declared his complete support for jumbo when he had contested for the ksca president post, and jambo also knows that rahul has also got huge name along with him in karnataka.
the politics is clearly been played by dr. malya and he is certainly making use of cricker's name for his personal decisions and jambo and rahul are not idiots and they know what exactly happing around them. let us see how many young playere from karnataka will play in the kingfisher team.

By not retaining Dravid, Mallya has brought bad name to himself. We all know what Dravid is. In my opinion he is the only person in Indian(BCCI) team who plays for his country. He has always held his personal ambinations secondary over team's interest. rest of the people always are after money. They put efforts when there are signs of being dropped from the team. While Dravid slogs for his team, others are busy making money through advertisements. They manage to remain in the team so that they can be hired by advertisement agencies. It is mallya's loss and not Dravid's one. It is also shocking to see that useless people get more money in the bidding. That is the tragedy of Indian cricket. There is no place for honest and the talented cricketeres.
