Kallis' batting average is superior to Tendulkar's, but batting average cannot be a criterion to judge batsmen. The real criterion is the population of the country they represent. South Africa can boast of hardly 50 M people, whereas India easily has 1250 M. The big advantage of a big population is, that the person in question can carry the loads of so many expectations, and also the person can win so many votes in an SMS poll. By this criterion, Tendulkar reigns supreme. Besides, BCCI is a rich body, therefore even the foreign critics are compelled to accept Sachin's superiority. Therefore Sachin and only Sachin is a great batsman. All others including Sir Don Bradman are ordinary. In fact Sir Don is more ordinary than others, because the population of Australia even today is hardly 22.5 M.

You are on the spot! When Kallis got out cheaply in the 2nd inning of 2nd test,SA lost the match.Nobody including media had criticized him.
Yesterday frustruation of body language of the bowler have appeared as India were 27/2 and 142/2. The best way for India not to give up early wicket, or big partnership of first inning be needed then see the result.
1971 series against England Indian won in their home soil and created history, at that time we have had no tailenders like Harbhaja,I.Sharma or Zhirkhan. Presently senerio convincinly changed, hopefully India can do good.
kallis Much Better than Tendulkar.. Have anyone seen tendulkar batting so solidly.. he would only bat when its easier to bat. and for records. Further Kallis also bowls... and is perfect allrounder for any team.. by far the all time best. So when he says u better listen tendulkar...
