he also avoids the quicks as always - never playing Steyn, Morkel.

Very protected.

But his favorite umpires like Simon Taufel, Davis, Billy Bowden, Shashtri save him every time. That why BCCI dictates other CBs with huge money power to avoid UDRS.

In this series he was plumb LBW at 57, but umpire Davis let him make his century. And here is another perfect example:

25.4 Harris to Tendulkar, no run, 81.1 kph, Loud shout for lbw but Taufel turns it down. It landed on a length on the middle and leg and skidded towards the leg stump. Tendulkar went back after pressing forward initially and tried to work it to square-leg but missed it. The ball hit the pad on the knee roll and hawk eye says it would have clipped the outer half of the leg stump.

So, most of his runs come from manipulation through purchased umpires.

bcci never paid steve bucknor who always gave him out even on batpad or ball missing leg stump. if ball his clipping outer of leg stump good decision is not out. always expert says that it must be not out. why you are not talking about kallis who got the benefit and he was on 50 then
52.5
Sreesanth to Kallis, no run, 129.6 kph, Shout for lbw It landed on a good length on the off and middle and seamed in towards the leg stump. Kallis was on the shuffle and struck on the pad. The appeal isn't too ferocious. Taufel says no. Hawk eye suggests it would have hit the top of the leg stump.

not kallis case was hit leg stump not clipping outer part. either case i would not consider mistake as for umpire there was doubt in both to give out.

Shrikant, am i sure that u r sort of a guy who doesn't like guys who made BIG in life.Get a life,Dude.Do u know how many times Sachin was given out, when it was clear that he was not out.In a career spanning 20 years,u get some in favour of a batsman & sometimes it goes against him.And in this case,if the ball is clipping the outer half of leg stump, batsman generally gets benefit of doubt.

Maybe , but if Laxman hadn't scored 96 & held the tail together,it wudn't have been possible to set a target of 303.
