Ya india is avereage team in bowling department but in batting best and above par - which covers and brings india to no .1 position also has 2 best bowlers zaheer and harbajan - require 1 more supporter in test bowling attack - in one day its ok as nehra and kumar does thier job

India is still a b-graded cricket team. we havent beaten SAF or Aus in a test series ever since we started playing. Its a shame someone like me and u watched test cricket last 20-25 yrs and ofcourse with SAF playing since 1992 we havent beaten them. dont u think we r weak weak team?

Vaidhy Narayanan, SA in their home is a strong side just as India had been in India. SA had a strong side during late 90s though they did not officially get the No.1.
Indian team had played well in Aus and Eng in 70's and 80's. Look at the tapes of those Test Series to believe. Under Kapil India won World Cup, defeated Eng in Eng, drew with Aus in Aus in 1986 (drew only because of bad umpiring) and had earlier drawn with Aus in Aus 1980-81 under Gavaskar.
But today's paid media wants to project that India started winning aborad only when Saurav Ganguly became captain. There is a lot of money involved for that view.

Indian fast bowling attach is the weakest amongs all current teams. we dont have any sharp bowler who can bowl 135km every over let alone 145km... I think every team have atleast one sharp bowler
