A person who has confessed to have taken money from bookmakers alongwith Mark Waugh previously, predicting a tie, must be taken seriously. Especially nowadays, the English and Aussie media only sees South Asians but luv to overlook their own, this mite've been a slip of the tougue. But if a South Asian mite've said the same thing the reaction would've been different.

Arvind Aravindanatham:
Well said... Indian team should immediately be investigated for possible match fixing... How could they (including Dhoni) have taken orders from Shane Warne??
You have given the absolutely right reaction... ;-)
Drop Bhajji----he was supposed to be a wicket taking bowler
Drop Yuvi-----pathetic feilding and unfit , even canada's Balaji Rao is fitter than him
5 Bowlers should be :-
Munaf and Zak opening the bowling
Ashwin first change during power play
Sreesanth and Piyush once the power play is over
Batting Order :-
1 Sachin 2 Gambhir 3 Sehwag ( should allow veeru to play spinners, most of the time gets out before spinners come ) 4 Kohli 5 Yusuf 6 Dhobi 7 Piyush 8 Zak 9 Ashwin 10 Sreesanth 11 Munaf

thats right...Dhobi wants to get Raina in the team. The only person he can drop is Kohli, so he drops him to no. 8. Kohli fails, naturally the next choice is Raina. Mission completed for Dhobi and Raina.
yusuf must come ahead of dhoni specially when india is batting 1st to score a big total but looser dhoni wont let this happen bcoz of his selfish attitude for dhoni yuvi and he himself are bigger than team
Not blaming for yesterday match MSD really look suspicious at yesterday match? For past 10yrs India doesnt have good pace bowling MRF pace foundation in chennai starting from Lee,johnson, steyn and all leading cricketer from around world get trained MRF Indians not fit to bowl 150km/hr? BCCI and our selectors only caring how to get Money from IPL and other things,........
Re: india is most hyped Team by our media
by binoy mathew on Feb 28, 2011 03:39 PM
Really well said...India is definitely the most hyped team in the world...India has some flat track bullies in Yuvraj, Dhobi, Raina, pathetic bowlers except Zaheer and poor fielding. One of the worst fielding teams in the world. Still the media and all the so called pundits say India has a chance to win the cup. Why? It is all a hype created by BCCI and the companies sponsoring the world cup. If there is no hype like this and India get out in the first round, then the world cup is going to be a big flop like the one in west indies. so all the so called pundits and media are given enough money to pick india as one of their favorites. the reality is and every fan who has knowledge in cricket will know that this is an overhyped team and india do not have chances against good teams. if mediocre teams like bangladesh and england can score highly, imagine how much the good teams will score?
i think the match was not fixed at all we should accept england played really and acceptionaly well strauss played a real captain innings oh but real captaincy from ms but yet again no gain from little master 100 runs.
The whole match was fixed. There are so many points which indicating that the whole match was fixed. 1. Shane warne predictions. He had already pridict before the match start. 2. Everybody thought that india would reach 350 but he failed to do so. 3. India were 292/3 in 45 overs but india failed to play complete 50 overs match. 4 7 wickets down in last 5 overs. 5. Eng 280/2 in 42 overs. 6. Even not a single bowler builded pressure in 42 overs but suddenly break 3 wickets in dead pitch There are more points but still this is my thoughts. Pleaase post your thought

John Max:
We must all feel proud to have witnessed this demonstration of Perfection...
EXACT timing of dismissals.... Precise bowling when needing a wicket and when needing to concede Sixes... Fantastic perfection by even tailenders to send balls soaring over the ropes at EXACTLY the right time you wanted them to...
A whopping 100 overs - 600 balls; and it was precisely timed like a clockwork to EXACTLY culminate on the 600th ball (well 599th if you take out the last ball from the Indian innings and disregard wides.. :)
Wow... our government and administrators should take school lessons from whoever managed the FIXING; to learn how to perfectly execute efficiently and effectively... :)

7. Strauss nicket the ball when he was at 20, but no appeal from wicket keeper or bowler 8. No action from India captain to control singles & twos 9. Strauss suddenly option a power play when things were going smooth for him 10. England not trying to take a second run at all on the last ball though they had nothing to loose!! 11. Indian captain not bringing in Shewag or Sachin who could have broken the partnership...

yes i think match is fixed. With new system its clear that bell is out. But final result is not out. Another point is dhoni dismissal. Its irresponsible move from a captian. After the dismissal of yuvi very next ball chossing a loose shot he gave his wicket. And also promotion yuvi in batting order. If realy he want to accelerate run rate why he not use pahan. I think Kohli is suitable for that situtation

I am sure u never played cric. Since I played cric I can say u cannt fix a match for tie. throwing away a match is easy. 3 balls 10 runs not even the best actor can act. one edge, or missfield would have given englad victory in last ball.
