it was a FIX
by RAJ sharma on Mar 02, 2011 04:40 AM  | Hide replies

there is very little doubt that our boyz were a playingthis encounter as a FIXED one, therby none of them cared about line & length, appeal on nicks, show any signs of panic to take wickets. These same guys beat the crap out of Aussies & Oz in practice matches, what's wrong now??? Ofcourse,if they do this now and still get in last8,then why not make the extra moolah, irresistible!!!In the end we all know,BETTING exists,so if the guys make the extra bucks now but get down to seriously winning the CUP for the country, who cares, just a wild thought.

It had nothing to with no hearing the sound...basically overrated f00l or some stupids say c00l dhobi is a insecure man who can not make decision of his own when he is forced to do so under pressure.

:) So why did it end in a Tie? That too on the 599th legitimate ball of the day? :)

If what you say is true, I'd wish the fixers who fixed this match with precision, should take over our country... We'll at least see some efficiency and effectiveness in executing plans.. :)

Well I think its time to show Billy Bowden his place!!There is nothing wrong in that as afterall India gives over 95% of the profit to Icc!!Also I differ on 2 statements made frequently.

1.Indian cricket passion is called as almost insane- exact worfd I am not remembering -.It is the same passion as US has for Basket ball!!No one calls US same over Basket ball!!
2.Sachin is often being referred as "Little Master" by western commentators and folowed by Indian commentators!!No one called Bradman Little Master although he was not exactly a tall man!!We have to understand that British and Australian media commentators in their attempt to put down Sachin, which they cant do any way on the Cricket pitch, are satisfying their sadistic insticts by calling him Little Master!!It is just like Britsh created "Sardarji Jokes " as British were awed by the braveness and ferocity of Sikh military Units!!A cheap way to put down great people!!!

That can't be an excuse since they always get used to play with crowd noise, what if they play in Eden having 90k people making noise?

If you look at for Thin Nick only Keepers will go up first and they knows exactly after the Batsman, Fast bowlers always takes a sec to see what happening after they bowled the Ball but keepers eye always on the ball as well, you can't blame a Fielder who was standing far from the batsman nor a Fast Bowler but If he is a Spinner he can hear the thin nick

Dhar:

If it was fixed, all the involved participants played their roles to perfection... Knowing EXACTLY how to bowl, how to exactly edge, exactly hit a six in the last over etc. etc...

We must all enjoy such perfectionist displays and hope that our governments can administer with such precision... :)

Eevryone does not try to fix for the same result. Dhoni wanted India to lose. Some players may have been with him, but the others might have tried to win. Not appealing for two edges is unnatural.

But during the 32nd Over the crowd is Silent, If you seen the Match you can easily find that and this is not the Biggest noise they were playing, Imagine they were Playing in Eden with 90k People making noise, Indian Players always got used to play under this circumstance and this can't be a excuse

Appeal?
by sakar panch on Mar 01, 2011 10:24 AM  | Hide replies

Do fielders need to appeal for catches as well? I thought fielding team appeal is required only for run out (and possibly LBW?).

If you call our fielders deaf, then what happened to the Umpire's hearing ability?

Assuming that the appeal was turned down the replays were certainly not convincing, UDRS also surely would not help.

Just dont write some nonsense just because you have been given some space in this site.

Yes Sir, You have to Appeal for a Wicket unless it's a Clear Wicket, like Clean Bowled and Caught off a Clear edge, Umpire can't give it out even though he knew that the Batsman Nicked if the Fielding Team Not Appealing.

indian team is sure mentally retarded, with munaf ji dont understand short run, piyush chawla giving hitting flight for 6 runs to make, sufficient time to hit, mentally retarded indian team with captain require all rules study with good trainer and telling laws, fielding practice, also hamstring injured players be not allowed to play in 11,keep him as drink taker,12 th man,who cant ball at 49 th over, also their heads with ears, eyes checked for dspectacles, also BCCI officials be checked heads for not supporting india and not preparing turning pitches, always afraid what gora sahib will think for such turning pitches, really idiots.sure india will WC after 1000 years, pak is favourite this time, indian team better make practice of ads, upar cut, doosra, helicopter shots, sachin shud think about next records than playing for team according to situation, instead of accelerating, step up run rate, sachin and indians are complacent
