Dear Brothers and sisters, I am indeed pained to see that you have been dealt with very badly by both the KSCA and the police for no fault of yours. Knowing fully well that, the match will be telecast live, I do not know as to why you people have craze to see it in stadium where you have no liberty to watch freely due to security reasons. You are not allowed to carry even drinking water which you have to buy it inside at very exorbitant cost. We all thought, Kumble and Srinath, will definitely bring in some changes and transparency in the working of KSCA but sadly they are in line with their predecessors.
My humble request to you all, for the treatment meted out to you all for no fault of yours, I only strongly recommend that, if we are really true kannadigas and have self respect and dignity, you all should not visit the stadium to watch the match and the stadium should show empty. Repeat this act on few more occasions and see the result for yourself. Many have lost our hard earned money knowingly and unknowingly in the past and the ticket money (if purchased) is not a very big value before our self-respect and dignity.
I leave it to you to decide - cricket or self respect and dignity.

It is a pity to watch the cricket fans being caned by the police nt for breaking the law but for paying to BUY tickets. the main culprit behind this fiasco is the local cricket association. Why should the association not have transparency in selling tickets and announce teh available position of tickets through electronic ticker tape like at railway stations. This will at least deter lot of people frm queing up at least. Moreover giving freebies topoliticians is the last thing the stadium authorities should be doing and falling a prey to blackmaililing by the corporators is something to be looked in to. Is the KSCA holding back from paying regular taxes ?If not why is it so scared of these authorities?

The KSCA must take back the freebie's to the big shots and allot to the general public
