Cricket fans need to think
by magani on Feb 24, 2011 02:05 PM  | Hide replies

watching a match in stadium is an unnecssary exercise today. better watch it on TV with your family & friends. why waste money & time in stadium. by doing this you are reducing the stress on Police and organisers. Police are always scapegoats for any misconduct of fans. why punish them for the job they have done
SO DECIDE NOT TO GO TO STADIUM TO WATCH ANY CRICKET MATCH. WATCH IT ON TV ONLY.

With Sharad Pawar at the helm- shortage /high prices are expected
by Pittu Rao on Feb 24, 2011 02:01 PM  | Hide replies

WIth Pawar as the ICC chairman, Head of the Tournament Org committee, Head of Mumbai Cricket Association, ticket availability and zooming price are a given.

After his incredible track record in scamming sugar, foodgrains, pulses, onions, vegetables.... did anyone expect better. Physical tickets for BAngalore Ind v/s Eng match reach KSCA on Wednesday. How do you expect Kyazoonga to distribute without knowing what to sell, how many, and at what price. Hail the incredible PAwar.

We Indian fools long live!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
by palanisamy on Feb 24, 2011 01:58 PM  | Hide replies

Just ban the bloody cricket in India. We cannot afford this lazy British nobles game who invented this good for nothing game to just want to pass the time and spend the money they earned from their colonies. Now what happens? There are numerous idols that are getting all unwanted publicist and they are laughing all the way to the banks. In Maharashtra majority of people are staying in slums and chawls. Rich people are getting whatever they want. Now take the case of Sachin Tendulkar. He has constructed a four storey building to accommodate his four member family. He wants additional FSI to construct a gymnasium at the building. Can’t he convert a part of the four storeys building into a guymnasim? No he will not do that because he knows that government will give him whatever he asks. All the political parties will go out of their way to sanction the additional FSI he is asking. Now Raj Thackery has already started his campaign to get the political mileage. You cannot blame anyone because the middle class and lower middle class and downtrodden can be easily exploited . That is what happening in India whether you take Sachin, Shah Rukh Khan or any celebrities but only celebrities. You common Indians are doomed to struggle when celebrities like sachins, shah rukhs, sanjay dutts, etc. are having a ball. Still you say JAI HIND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Long live you middle class Indians!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is the question of ido
lizing great achievers in
the field of Cricket and
Films only.They are rais
ed to the level of Icons,
short of worshipping them
and this rule is not appl
icable to the achievers
in the other fields.That
is called the rigid mind set of an average Indian.

Dr. Palanisamy, Nobody is forcing you to watch cricket / bollywood. If you want to save electricity, then throw away your TV & computer.

What you expect the police to do
by Raj on Feb 24, 2011 01:55 PM  | Hide replies

The report clearly says that people were angry with shortage of tickets and they would have started creating trouble. If the people starts creating trouble police are blamed if they lathicharge to trouble makers then also police are blamed!!!
