normally whenever any australian does something it is always in response to some sledging by other team's players. like bechara symmonds when the whole thing was started by bhajji.
similarly, ponting is not the culprit here. it is sad that he is drawing so much flak and demands for fine. actually the person who runout ponting is responsible for all this and that player should be banned for this whole world cup. Poor ponting is just being made a scapegoat while that player who runout ponting is left scotfree. actually he is the one who was responsible for ponting's outburst.
Ponting is certainly one among the worst behaved players in cricket today. He is losing a number of fans because of his bad behaviour while Tendulkar seems to be getting more fans for his excellent behaviour. Ponting should learn from Sachin who never throws his bat even if out on a duck. Way to go Ponting and pack your bags early this time.

YOU HAVE INSULTED THE WORD "WORST".THERE IS NO WORD TO EXPRESS THE BEHAVIOIR OF THIS MAN
Your growing frustration can be seen very clearly ...:)
Continual success by India (and Dhoni) and continual failure by Aus (and Ponting) seems to have shaken your equanimity and mental balance. Now you have even started to warn posters on this forum against doing something or other!...

pseudo:
also another thing i would like to ask you. you asked varun not to go overboard with sarcasm. wonder whether YOU have ever realised how much YOU go overboard with YOUR sarcasm ...:)

Thats what everyone thought. But it took a lot of effort by pseudo for people to start getting it. It is just a rich cultural tradition in aus land where they break things and drop washing machines etc while celebrating run outs, 30 wins in a trot etc. Pseudo is very well informed in such traditional matters and he immediately spotted the celebrations and enlightened us. :))

really? exceptional run in WC? i thought aus did very badly in ALL the 3 T-20 World Cups...:)

Come on. Dont be so humble. Your insight into the aussie culture is unbelievable. We will give you credit. :-)

right.... But still hesitant as to own up to the insight. You have opened our eyes to aussie culture and its practices whidh did seem weird at first. ICC needs a bit of education as well it seems. Your help is needed. :-)

Again humble. It is thanks to your knowledge. Everyone misunderstood the aussies. You alone understood them so well. :)

Of coz. I will help with all the traditional stuff you explained. No wonder you are in awe of the aussies. Such rich tradition they have. :))
Re: Re: Re: Re: Fus-tra-tion

One can see you are in deep AWE. Its ok. We are guessing it is because you know so much about their culture and traditions. :)

I guess Pseudo. The dread has now turned into admiration for their rich culture. Tks to you. :)))

Pseudo, i guess. It has turned into admiration of their rich practices. Thanks only to your insight.

Pseudo, oh i see. You are a perfectionist. You haven't transfered the complete insight yet. OK. Share more pearls of aussie wisdom. :-)
Re: learn from Sachin
by Varun on Feb 23, 2011 10:26 AM
Now thats because we indians dont have any valued traditions. Aussies on the other hand have such colorful ways of celebrating runouts, 30 wins in a row and common wealth victory etc. We are so poor culturally.

No sarcasm intended man. I was only explaining to Saba Pathy the value of tradition. Lighten your work load a bit.. :)

yeah. You need to start doing some real PR for them it seems. Dont be lazy now.

Varun:
In case you noticed, I am doing nothing of the kind... I am merely responding to all "overboard" statemements like "Australia always..", "India never..", "Ponting can never..", "Ponting always..", "Sachin always records..", "India always flat pitch.." etc. etc..
But I guess you have a personal agenda under which you do selective listening... :)

lol. Pesudo getting defensive. Listen your knowledge of aussie traditions is nothing to hide. Even ICC could use it. :-)
Re: Re: learn from Sachin
by Saba Pathy on Feb 23, 2011 10:29 AM
I dint understand this... Ponting smashes TV and you say he has culture. Sachin does not smash anything and makes friends with Shewag and you say we dont have culture.
Re: Re: Re: learn from Sachin

Varun:
:) Right... I take back my observation about the Fictional wins of Australia... :) You can quote Bangladesh picking up 7 world cups in a row instead... :)
First match of 2 high profile team - with 2 legends both run out - first guy said to co runner- team winning is more important than my personal milestone second guy who thot the ball would go to wicket keeper which inturn was a direct through to his end got out! got wild and slashed LCD and co runners BALLS!
