They also might have won 30 in a row or something. I guess it is in the culture. They celebrate their victories on tvs and washing machines instead of on the field. We should learn from them. :-)

If you dont know history of how Australia was formed, just want to update you that Australia was a sort of remote prison for England in 1700s and 1800s, same way as Andaman was for India. All the forefathers of australians were convicts who were thrown out of England to make it a better place. Going to Australia was a kind of black water punishment.
How would you expect descendents of convicts to behave? same way as Ponting did, right.....!!! The blood speaks for itself.
Ponting's behavior has to been seen in the context of his Australian colonial roots.
For that matter, Tendulkar can never behave like this. The other while I watched 'Tendulkar's' daughter giving an interview and his unassuming son practicing, I can vouch upbringing do count.
Unfortunately 'Ponting's' upbringing seems to be in the hands of 'thugs'.

Dear Mr.Leo,
Men get angry because always the men who will panic. getting angry is a sign of panic. sign of frustration. sign of feeling lost. tendulkar never get panic. beautiful example he kept his cool in the lords test after being teased all the way to pavilion by an english fan. the result 195 runs in the next test and england lost the match.
tendulkar is a winner by a huge margin. aussies never won because of ponting. it is because of their great team.
this time i would bet india will do better than aussies. no doubt about that.

leo nowhere, u as well as ponting also knw that ponting is nothing in comparision to SACHIN. u appreciate ponting, bcz u r the only one to do so.

They are good people. They give us so much foreign exchange, milk, dairy products, cricket excitement etc etc. They are good people.
AUSTRALIANS HAVE PROVED TIME AND AGAIN THAT THEY ARE UNABLE TO DIGEST SITUATIONS NOT FAVOURING THEM.... IT IS A BIG SHAME WHENSOME KEEPS REPEATING MISTAKES AND KEEPS ASKING APOLOGIES FOR IT.........
BTW Sachin also was run out at 28, but at least we didnt hear that he broke any televisions. With all the stats and arguments, this is what differentiates them the most - their onfield and off field behaviour.
All the greats (be it Indian or Australian or any other) only have good things to say about Sachin, but none of them would say the same for Ponting.
