Infact, the Top 6 Teams should be playing, Round Robin with all play all format. Top 4 Teams to play in Semi-final and more important , the Final should be best of 3. This will take care of Greatest uncertainity. This will help the Best Team to be Winner without slightest of the Doubt.

cricket is played seriously in very few countries thats why including minnows is must. irony is inspite of lack of competition in international cricket, still india fails to bring world cup after wasting so much money and man-power in cricket.

The cricketing minnows should be given other platforms to perform. In fact the world cup will lose its standard if these teams are given chances. Besides what is the fun in a watching a game which has already been decided once the fixtures are drawn?
why don't indian pitch has enough grass on field. It looks like players are playing at school ground. what kind of chennai stadium?
i watch match on foxtel, quality of broadcast was horrible and third grade. I could hear irritating worst quality indie music all the time from background. I thought i could feel better watching cricket with mute, and relax music on my headphone.
finally, The quality of cameramen, and broadcast are not up to mark. Overall, worst coverage.
that india reached 370. Otherwise IND would have exited this time as well. And even if they scored 370, BD showed the guts to reach 283. So in one sense it was indeed a moral victory for BD as well. Had BD chosen Batting first the outcome could have been different. anyway you were lucky this time india!

India doesn't take matches serious or we would have up at good NRR yesterday. Thats why we are not No 1 in ICC rating,we should have bold Bangladesh below 160. We should not only concentrate on winning we need to improve our image so that it psychologically creates fear in opposite team so winning would have been easier. If Simple Bangladesh have created so much fear y India cant?

Sudhakar,good point. I have one question for you about 2003 world cup final. Why did Ganguly chose to bowl first after winning the toss? If we had batted first we would have made 250 plus and australia would have collapsed under the pressure of chasing in a WC final. Today,ganguly talks about his great 2003 world cup showing. But he made the greatest cricketing error of his life by choosing to bowl first in a world cup final and giving the world cup on a plate to Australia in 2003. If India reaches final in 2011 and Dhoni wins toss,we should hope that he does not make the same error of electing to bowl first! Like 2003,in 2011 our batting is our strength.

agree. the best these teams can do is to screw up the chancess one of the better teams chances, either due to freak performance, weather etc. This is worse than boring - like the way eligible India & Pakistan crashed out the tournament in WI edition of world cup
