During the T20 in South-African and then later during Auz tour where india gained upper hand to crush Auz ( where there was tuff with harbhajan ). The reverse was true, rohit was the leader and gambhir was struggling and did not know when to be on front foot. And Kohli was nowhere. he was still watching Sehwag mistakes and success.
Difference is sehwag, what he imparted. Something what Rohit/etc did not get. i meant sehwag imparted, tendulkar could not.

Viru is the most dangerous batsman in the world and unlike tendulkar he is never after records. He always plays his own game, his own style ... that's why he is so feared. Disgraced cricketers like azhar have no right to comment on him.

Dont write bullshit, Check with Rahu Dravid whether Sehwang played for records in a test match against pakistan a few years ago. The poor Sehwang out 5 runs short of breaking the partnership record. The already rain affected match was discontinued at that very moment. Without knowing the story pls dont comment.

the little difference in indian batting is due to viru.

Dear Sukhmeet,
Do not make wild charges against Tendulkar. Both Sehwag and Tendulkar have their own style. And there is nothing wrong in making records.Tendulkars records are a feather in India's cap.Why stoop low and try to throw mud on glowing Sun

Sachin created todays generation of crickets by setting examples. Sehwag himself admited that he tried to copy sachin as much as possible.

I checked the site, the lady is a bit one sided but so Hindutva followers also possess too much of a thin skin.

She is giving her opinion, you can give yours and matter is closed, nothing too serious about it to go gaga over!

Its Sehwag not Sachin this time in the world cup
by Ian Chappell on Feb 20, 2011 07:22 PM  | Hide replies

I think Sachin will retire without world cup like me and my dear brother! He is a spent force now and can't compete with young legs. He is not enjoying the game which has been his most strong point over the years . He is just playing the game for the sake of wining the cup. I saw no intensity in his body language otherwise it's really rare that Sachin gets out in this fashion. This run out has given me clear indication that Sachin's best is now gone and the guys who are talking about his next world cup playing chances is all rubbish !

Ian are you really there?I cannot believe this.Have you forgotten his record in 2010? This type of things can happen to great players. But above all I am disappointed with your comments.when I relly value your comments this sort of stuff hurts your own reputation.

Also, in his entire international carrer Sachin ha only called a runner once (WC-2003 match against Pakistan). That means all the 47 centuries were wihtout taking help of any runner. So where's the question of young legs??

Its strange that you are talking about young legs......... If you have noticed Sachin's runout one could easily notice that Sachin was almost at non-striker's crease even before the bowl was thrown to the wicketkeeper while Sehwag was still standing there.

Dear Fake Ian,
Ian chapel is a pygmy who should not utter a word about Tendulkar who is far above him in all respects.Fake Ian must bow before Tendulkar.Sachin needs no certificate from anybody. He is towering far above all mundane experts

This time no Tendulkar
by Sohail on Feb 20, 2011 06:36 PM  | Hide replies

This time no Tendulkar ....

Why do we want him in the team...

Just for his name sake...

He is useless and taking an important place at the top of the order.

Because of his selfish motive this may cost us an important match in the knock out stages...

SHeer presence unites time. He is one of tacticians. Also please check his world cup records. More over one should ask before questioning his form, motive, and ability to sail India through.

Have you forgotten the 2003 WC he was the force along with others to take us to the finals.

You should probably look at yourself and say "am I good enough to comment on sachin".....he has achieved things you cant even imagine, so support every member in the team and if you cannot atleast stop making degrading comments. It just shows how pathetic you are!

Only an idiot or useless can call others 'USELESS". Just about 6 months back he scored 200 runs in a one day match, that also a high quality team like South Africa and that feat cud not achieve by anybody till date. One run out can not say he is useless or anything like that. He is a genious and can a long further, which only he can. Of course age may be catching but still he is a force to be reckon with and all da best for him in the remaining matches.
