why so much negativity.

when was India no 1 and when we had such batting line up.Team India on sachin at all ,we became champ in 20/20 when sachin was not there at all.In the last 10 years if sachin scored 23-25 100s ,sehwag, dravid also also scores almost same while laxman little bit less but more significant than anybody. His 280 against aus comes in wisdons.DHONI,YUVI ,gambhir also contributed significant in odis and now virat, pathan and raina are match winners. In 90s ganguly, azhar and dravid also contributed marvelously.yes sachin has been consistent for long time but India is not dependent on him.I beleive strongly india vs aus in finals

Balaji Sampath
His fielding
by Balaji Sampath on Feb 18, 2011 08:40 PM

The author did not mention his great fielding skills. The commentators used to mention, Shrikkanth at covers or mid wicket and there is no chance of a run. His athletic fielding and accurate throws would make batsman think twice before taking a run.

Srikkanth Square Drive
by Chris on Feb 18, 2011 08:23 PM

This shot is not available in any of the highlights. I saw this only once in a recording of WC 1983. since then never available. I even bought VCD of 1983 WC and even there it is not available. But it really was a marvellous stroke.

World Cup Schedule
by aj walia on Feb 18, 2011 06:25 PM

What's up with this Schedule? How come they only play 1 game per day? Doesn't it make the world cup boring? You would assume they should play atleast 2 games in one day?

Four reason why India must be knocked out in First Stage
by shaheen on Feb 18, 2011 06:12 PM  | Hide replies

1) There is IPL where they are making huge money, they are least concerned about nation.

2)They make big money from match fixing as well , which adds up well with the income from IPL.

3) They do not pay taxes.

4) They are totally corrupt and indulge with girls and wine where ever they go and give India a bad name.

Are missing romping in the bed of the players that you are so frustrated.
yes they do make big money because the also take risk and invest big money in IPL
this their living and not the nations. Do you worry about Nation when you cash you salary cheque or do you worry about yourself and your family.
And what make you so sure that they do not pay taxes. are you their accountant that you know all the inside secrets.
Jealousy will not lead you any where GROW UP AND GET A LIFE.

Yes, it was Kris who established how important it was to strike in First 15 overs ! Sri Lanka excelled on that strategy in 1996 World Cup and walked home with cup !
