Yeh I put my money on Windies coz they can give better returns and they are underdogs ! but they have very good one day players and a forse on a given day....Polard, Sammy and Bravo are real match winning all rounders (no other team have 3 quality all rounders) and they have batters like Gayle, Chndrapaul and fast bowler like Kemar Rouch !

i think you don't know anything about betting. do research before make comment. you can make bidding for each game. if you bet today match ind v/s bangadesh, you might win $1.2 for every $ if india win and $10 if bangadesh win. you don't have to wait for 2 months to risk 3x return. what if india lost at quarter or semi final. he lost all without india playing at final
i dont understand why he bet now. the return is just 1-3 and have to wait for almost 2 months . why don't he bet when india reach at final. It save locking period and also less risk. The return will remain same even if india reach final. it may not be 1-3 probably around 1-2 depend on india performance.
very bad strategy. he has probably too much money to lose

let's think this way; the quoted bid can go up during quarters n semies, so this man has skilfully announced his early bid at an exceedingly high risk level so that the next bid should certainly be at least 3 times higher and his base value also increased by then...
remember, no punters put in their own money; it's all a collection from various roots that has amounted to that final figure!

Hmmmm..... They stand to loose about 300000 Pounds....with this one bet - 50% of 82000 Pounds is 32 Lacs. Even if they spend 50% of this to buy the players, they can make big bucks from this worldcup, as many 1000's of small bets are also collected. So the kingpin behind the betting rackets are the bet collectors who send unknown people on their behalf!!!!...... Hey just a thought.
