How could the selectors pick Yuvraj??? Yes I agree he has been a match winner and a flamboyant batsmen, but thats way in the past...Of late in the last year or so he has gained super weight and therefore he fields miserably and seems purely unfit...And I don't need to talk about his toothless batting display..

I agree with your reasoning. In fairness, it should also apply to Dhoni. Cannot remember any match winning contribution from Dhoni for the last couple of years, either in tests, ODIs or T20s. IPL and warm up matches are not true indicators. Drop Dhoni from the team !

Yuvraj- he is 100% needed- not for his batting but bowling. If Pathan or Yuvraj fail (both good candidates for failing), who will score the quick runs at the back end of the game? In my view, Raina is a must, He has also scored well in all the crunch matches. I will play only 2 of these 3: Pathan, Gambhir, Kohli. Otherwise we have too many defensive players: Sachin, Gambhir, Kohli, Dhoni

If Yuvraj is needed for bowling then are the other spinners in the team useless???
Isn't this same guy who captained India out of World Cup 2007 when they lost out to Bangladesh and never qualified for another round. He'll prefer everyone including Harbhajan to bat up the order when compared to Pathan. Dhoni does'nt like PAthan, and if India does well he will end mup pushing Pathan out of the team. In last warm-up everyone[including yuvi] bowled except for Pathan. By the time he comes whole batting side in back to the pavilion, when the batting side clicks Pathan is'nt much needed. Pathan is a liability who Dhoni will remove soon.

its was the so-called Wall who captained Indian in 2007 world cup and not Dhoni
Was'nt this the same Dhobi who captained India out of the world cup in 2007 when they lost to Bangladesh and never qualified for another round. I'm sure he will pick all even Harbhajan to come up and ask Pathan to bat lower, PAthan is'nt much wanted in the team. Last match everyone bowled[including Yuvi] but Pathan. By the time he comes in all the batting half is in the pavilion already and when they perform Pathan services are'nt needed. Soon Dhoni will have his way and kick him out of the team for good.

what knowledge you have ?Idiot..It was Rahul Dravid who captained India in 2007 wc?>
Yuvraj and Kohli need to score 50 s to hold their spot, else in comes Raina. No such target for Raina or himself. Never mind that both Raina and he cannot score against world class bowling and on a lively pitch.

Yes Raina needs to score 50 in 50 innings, whereas Kohli or Yuvi must score 50 in every innings. And Dhoni gets 50 chances to pass useless excuses/comments on bowlers and batsmen performance. That's Dhobi math
It's a no brainer that Dhoni cannot touch Kohli especially since Kohli is way more consistent than Raina or him combined. Now he gets to match Raina against Yuvraj or Yousuf for a spot on the team. No odds for Raina getting in thru the back door anyhow !
