Re: Australia down and Out - Looking out of Sort

First of all Ferguson needed to establish his place in the team....C White is better than Clarke....But for if Ferguson make it into the team then Australian Management will not allow him to lead, atleast he needs 80 ODIs experience.

No, Not like that, Ferguson cemented his place even before C White but a leg Injury forced him out of International arena and once Ponting goes Ferguson is their Next choice Batsman and Australian Selectors already Stated Ferguson could be a Future Leader.

If they are Aussies they MUST be arrogant.... that's how the "intelligent" logic goes... ;) Else tell me what's the difference between Voges and Clarke or Ponting?

2.A spinner can't turn a bowl by taking drugs. S.Warne is all time best spinner. 3.S.Bucknor is one of the top umpire of all time. Because he gave some wrong decision against India doesn't make him poor.

Why All time best spinner is not successful against India?
Traditionally Bucknor has always given wrong decsions against India. I remember a case during the India's tour South Africa way back in 1992 when Bucknor eventually did not go to third umpire for a runout even after Indians insisted on appealing.

Which spinner got success in India? Because we are indians we don't forget any human error. There can be many instances where his decisions were in favour of India.

I agree with you most overseas spinners did not do well in INDIA. Howver there are quite a few in INDIA who did well.
Would you endorse the same view on Bucknor in 2008 just after the Sydney Test? This proves the true value of Indians. We tend to forget the bad deeds of others easily.

I agree with you. Bucknor shouldn't have given Sachin not out which allowed him to score an unbeaten 154... :) Similarly he shouldn't have given VVS notout and he shouldn't have given Ponting out... All wrong decisions... :)

Thanks for your explanation. Never knew that you can win 3 consecutive world cups only by sledging and not playing good cricket! Also did not knew that you can become a world class spinner by taking drugs!

Captain should force him in sake of team. Team will get more balance if he bowls well.

Ponting also spoke about his spinners and how he plans to use them in the World Cup. They rested Steve Smith and played Jason Krejza yesterday, but Ponting assured that Smith will be one of the key players for Australia in the tournament. "Smith will definitely bowl a lot of overs in the tournament. Jason Krejza will learn from his outing today, [Michael] Clarke can bowl when needed but Smith will play a lot." Cameron White, the other batsman who can bowl some spin, has already admitted he is no longer an allrounder and will play as a pure batsman. "Just lost a bit of confidence as a bowler to be honest," White said. "I am just concentrating on my batting and enjoying that role."
