tendla fans has in them
by tendusach on Feb 16, 2011 01:39 AM  | Hide replies

Inspired with what ordinary folks can achieve if they stick together for a common cause, fans of Sachin Tendulkar have decided to speak out against those dictatorial umpires, who rule the little master out showing utter disregard for popular sentiments and beliefs. Tendulkar fans have already started collaborating on social networking websites and are all set to break into Egypt like protests the moment an umpire rules Sachin out.

Tendu Jhooth:

Well said.... But at least he makes SOME runs before being ruled out, so the riots will be expectedly much lower in intensity than the ones which will break out after Dhoni is given out... :)

hehe. They would have reasons ready for chokes. Of coz blaming dhoni is the first on the list. Or an injury or lack of match practice. The usual. Funny how facades come down. :)

If Sehwag gets a good start, if Sachin plays till the 40th over, if sreesanth gets his rhythm, if yuvraj plays like how he played in 2007 Twenty20... If .. If .. If...

Cricket is surely a game of uncertainities.. definetely when it comes to Indian team!

Good for nothing pakistani players praise tendva in the Indian media and in return get a phrase like" elegant batsman of yesteryear" thats all they want, sellouts.

Any of them on a 'good' day could bring the Cup. Viru could do it single-handedly. He looked at his menacing best during the warm-up. I think the bowlers are quaking in their shoes...

Very well said. I also noticed that Indian Team participated in 2007 WC and didn't win. What happened in last WC?
It surely implies that Australia is going to win 2011 WC as per your "fantastic" logic... Right? :)

Australia has always been a serious contender for any cricketing tournament they have played in because they had the best - bowlers, batsmen and fielders and gelled well as a team. I believe it all started with the Indian tour in 2007 where we scored 700 odd runs and started it all, drawing the series and then SA going to beat them adding to the demoralising recent ashes loss to the English.
HOWEVER - I believe they are FAR FROM OVER - trust me my friend! Whenever anyone has pointed a finger at them, they have come back very strongly. A few WCs have been examples - where they were on the verge of elimination - and came back to win them!

I don't however feel they have the same kind of aura they had. But they are still one of the most dangerous teams in the tournament! I would give them a hands up for a last 4 berth! Can't say about the final!
Would like to know only your views on this.

Although my heart beats for India, I still think it may be an India - SA final and SA will prevail - they have deserved it - FOR A LONG LONG TIME! Hope I am proved wrong!

Well there was rain, an injury, sore throat, bad day, team game etc etc. Tons of excuses to explain away tendus failures, which are normal. Him bringing the cup only is used when india wins. Otherwise nope.
