That was not fluke. We beat the West Indies team two times.one in preliminary and one in final.Can you say fluke both times.

First kudos to the world cup winner team of 1983. But now the team is very much experienced and daredavils. Winning a world cup is not inachievale. But we Indians expect a spectacular show from our daredavils which may outshine the worldcup. Winning the cup should not be taken as a pressure. But put up the best fight my boys. So don't worry about the cup. WISH YOU ALL THE LUCKS OF THE LEGENDRY CRICKETERS OF THE WORLD.
Instead of opening their mouth,they should concentrate on their game.Till the end of the WC 2011,Indian players should not talk unnecessarily or involve themselves in useless and aussie special sledging.Especially to the guys like Bhajji,Zaheer,Sreesanth and to some extent Gambhir,these guys should be restricted and show their performances on the game.
india keep harping 1983 world cup...its not a big deal..with only 10-12 countries playing...cricket world cup is meaning less as there is no competition...and no one dayers are almost dead...so whatz the point of winning world cup when the game itself will end..
Indian team seems to be confused. Somebody says that he wants to win for Tendulkar, some say they want to win it for Gary Kirsten. And this guys is looking at 1983.
My Friend, the only motivation you should have to look at 2011 WC and win it for the crores of cricket fans of your country . Not for an individual or a company like Coke or Pepsi.

Mr Shrikanth, Why are you confusing so much? If Anybody wants to meet for Sachint or Gary or anyother! Main thing is they want to win the world cup and thats what every Indian want...
Every one is contriving on rathoric of his own because they know its better creat escape route after world cop early exit like last world cup. They personally knows the fact that oppositions also have chance to win matches because indian wickets are batting wickets batting second have greater chance to win even Zimbabwe and Bangladesh can score 300 on indian batting wickets. And on a bad day early morning dew may creat distruction of indian top orders.

munaf patel along with Zaheer khan should lead the attack. ashwin is a good spin bowler but we need harbhajans experience
