You must be a mentally unstable person. What makes you think the American rednecks are gonna have your brown ass stick around when things get heated up and when some white guy around the corner comes to learn you have been stealing his job ? do you feel Indians are safe everywhere except the UK ? don't be ridiculous you dork. Your regional bias is evident when you say 'north' Indians. What kind of an Indian are you then ? oh well you are an 'american' Indian ahahaa. Which kind of 'american' Indian are u ? a mohawk, a blackfoot, a cherokee, an apache ?? give me a break.

Oh wait.. it doesn't even matter if you are a 'US' citizen.. you will still be treated like a second class citizen by the yankees. Remember what happened to japanese americans during WW2. You will end up in some camp in Costa Rica or dumped into the Atlantic. India may be corrupt, India may be unhealthy, but India is my home. India is a my country and I ain't f**king compromising my India to some ass f**ked nation with a 200 yr history.

suggestion for BCCI
by bhawna.khan@rediffmail.com on Feb 11, 2011 10:32 AM

There are 40 other grounds in India, I think we should move the match to Dharmasala in the Northern part of India or else move to Mumbai and let CCI play the host instead of Wankhede so we mumbaikars get to watch our team play.

Why do Indians lack patriotism?
by Gurjot Singh on Feb 10, 2011 10:58 PM  | Hide replies

We should complain about sub-par facilities in other countries. I am sure Indian facilities are far superior to the facilities at other host sites

Gurjot Singh:

:) Well said... YP Singh should become more patriotic and stop thinking about the safety and security of mere Indians... :)

Why talk about safety and security when the whole topic is totally absent in anything and everything we do? :)

Re: Why do Indians lack patriotism?
by Get Educated on Feb 10, 2011 11:05 PM
Dear Mr. Gurjot Singh,

You are absolutely wrong! It is not a question of patriotism. It is about accepting our poor standards which is the first step for reform. In the western countries atleast safety, quality standards are never compromised. whereas the Indian standards can be compared only with countries like Afghanistan and Somalia.

We Have a world class stadium in Hyderabad
by pappu venkateshwarrao on Feb 10, 2011 10:36 PM  | Hide replies

Hyderabad boasts of having world class stadium, but not a single world cup Match is allotted. Not only that not a single player from A.P. is in world cup team. We do not know what these HCA Fellows are doing. They are good for nothing. We lost very good players like Rayudu due bad politics played by HCA.It is high time some Sincere and good persons like Laxman takes the responsibilty to set right the HCA.

I don't know if it is foresight or it just happened so, but its better this way that no one was selected from AP. If some one was selected from AP, then Telengana people will agitate and vice-verca.

Sachin Tendulkar was famously left unbeaten on 194 at Multan when Indian captain Rahul Dravid declared innings to push for a win while Tendulkar has been out on 193 once, versus England at Leeds in August 2002.

Overall, Sachin Tendulkar has been dismissed in nineties 8 times in his test career =

98 vs Australia at Mohali (2010), 97 vs South Africa at Mumbai (2000), 96 vs Sri Lanka at Bangalore (1994), 94 vs Pakistan at Mohali (2005), 92 vs West Indies at Barbados (1997), 92 vs England at Trent Bridge (1994), 91 vs England at Trent Bridge (2007) and 90 vs England at Bangalore (2001).

stephen marques Just a few years ago, sachin was dismissed for scores of 90-99 on atleast 7-8 occasions in 1 calender. So much that even his son advised him to go for sixes when in the 90's!!
