to his badluck.... all the senior players also didn't perform in 2007 WC, any one cud have come to his help, he became lonely... i felt like... everyone plays for thier own not for nation or indian fans.
For CWG, India scheduled lot of new events in shooting and got a lot of medals. In Asian Games, China did not hold those events. ---------- In any case, let's see who wins the toss in each game. And, expect a few untimely rains.
There is no hanky-panky here because in the League Stage, every team has to play SIX matches. Unless Bongaladesh wins Four matches, they cannot go to the next stage. Same is the case for India, Pakistan, Australia, New Zealand. Winning one or two matches and eliminating better teams is not going to happen.
The headlines says that the fixtures were made to favour India, but the text reads "the fixtures for the mega event, beginning February 19, were made to favour co-hosts India AND OTHER TOP TEAMS making it to the knock-out stage."
So whats new in this? it happens in every sport. chess, tennis, football, hockey, you name it, that is the way it is every where.
The lots or pairing are made in such a way that the top two team or the top two players will meet only in the finals. If everything goes according to the plan or pairing the best two will come through to the finals.
You dont want that the top 2 players or top 2 teams play in the initial stages itself and one of them gets knocked out, do you?
