All the Ex-players considering India to be hot favourites of winning the WC without proper thinking i think. There r few set backs for India before start of WC 2011 1.Star batsmen like Sehwag and Gambhir r coming back from injuries 2. Middle order batsmen like Yuvi and Raina r not in good form recently 3. Pace bowling dept is not reliable 4. Lack of genuine all rounders 5. Fielding not upto the mark 6. No addition WC or left arm spinner in the side 7. We don't have a player of crisis in ODIs like Laxman in tests
India will succeed if they think of one match at a time. And in that too session by session. Not to lose any match, even if it is Bangladesh or Ireland. Remember how Kapil put all his weight to notch up 175 n.o. when India lost too many early wickets against Zimbabwe in 1983 WC ? Not to lose !

Kapil Dev is unique. There is no such inspiring captain or player like him in India who always tried to give the best even in the face of defeat.
Why you all are in a wrong notation.... India and world cup win. Maximum 2 round.... Dhoni don't know how to bat. on that cap you are dreaming we will get the world cup. Good joke... All will cry very soon... Ha ha ha ha

At least a cynic like you is prepared for the worst. But I doubt that someone with your attitude can actually enjoy a good match.
I am reminded of WC '92, wherein the hosts Australia believed they only had to take the field to lift the Cup. They were eliminated in the first round.
who is kirti azad. is he some kind of astrologer or fortune teller. the winner will be known after the final. prediction is only for the weather. that too always goes wrong.
