Watch Obama's ratings. And, the quantum of bail out that he gave to US Companies and the outcome, if I have to Engineering word "Efficiency", is very low. So, please do not compare Dhoni with Obama.
Dhoni has achieved and is achieving much much better results and wins with meagre resources.
As I see the majority of the Indians are still crying in spite of having a good captain aka MS Dhoni. Someone has said he prefers CSK players..Well whats wrong with that? M Vijay, Ashwin are all good players who have got some opps under Kris Srikanth/Dhoni. 10 yrs ago Gavaskar (Mumbai Lobby) and his brother in law G Viswanath( Bangalore Lobby) selected a full MH-KA Team. We don't cry about the quality of kumble, dravid inspite of seeing people like David Johnson, Sunil Joshi or say about Tendulkar, Manjrrekar when we had so many dumb players like Mhambrey, Kulkarni, Mazumdar, List is endless.
Bottomline, MSD has been Indians best ever captain in ODI and Tests. I support CSK, MSD and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
In India, if you don't play politics, others will eat you..Accept it or move on..

Once a ship full of crabs were exported from India to England.The crabs were left freely inside the ship.
Then a new foreign crew asked his elder colleague,why are the crabs left open in the ship.Will they not climb and escape to sea waters?
Then the elderly gentleman said"donot worry,these are Indian crabs.If one climbs up,another will pull him down.This will continue till the ship docks at the destination.So,there is no chance of any crab succeeding in escaping.Got it?

@ Indigo Sepoy- Gavaskar retired 23 years ago and his brother-in-law was out of international cricket even before that. Since then Gavaskar has been running his business and has nothing to do with Indian cricket administration, not to mention the team selection. To say that "10 years ago Gavaskar and Vishwanath could select a MH-KA team" is one of the DUMBEST posts on this forum ever made!
Even though Dhoni has good captain skills(and some luck) and cool head, he plays politics related to few of the selections. Chennai Team mates and his worshipers(chamchaas) are preferred even if few other players excel. His favouritisim towards Ravindra Jadeja earlier was too costly in one or two major tournaments. Some players are neglected eventhough they performed very well just before the world cup.
People are discussing the comment of an insignificant man like Parveen Kumar as if it has come out from mouth of a distinguished personality or an intellectual.
I just wonder how can some posters spend hours here speaking ill of great man like Sachin. Had they spent same amount of time improving themselves, they have made their life better and full of happiness. I see so much bitterness in these posters. Some of them pretend to be an expert of leadership....what a pity!

LG, not only players like praveen kumar, raina, kohli etc. but even legends like kapil, sachin, richards, ganguly etc. have admired and praised dhoni's captaincy. these legends are impressed by dhoni's great captaincy skills, impeccable behaviour, never-say- die attitude, win-hungriness and keeping cool under the most trying circumstances.
LG, it is really surprisng that even your favourites like kapil, sachin have words of praise and admiration for dhoni. yet you do not understand. but never mind, for dhoni admiration, praise and respect of such greats like sachin, kapil, richards, gavaskar, ganguly, ponting, etc. more important than opinions of stubborn idiots like you.

You keep coming with an idiotic logic. Have you hear d them saying x, y z is bad captain? NO...So these comments carry no weight.
Captaincy in cricket is now-a-days a hype subject...almost every team has a coach or core of players who are part of think tank.
First be something in your life before discussing topics like leadership or great men.
Just like one can not expect a beggar or loser to have the ability to discuss what it takes to be successful in life or heart and brain to admire great and successful people.

I dont think any one speaks ill of sachin... only when the mad sachind fans talks ill of dhoni then people have to come out with the truth about sachin's uninspiring capataincy during his tenure...dhoni has his own plus points which sachin himslef admires. we must recognise that..

what plus points has he got? Agree or not, Dhoni has been pure lucky. And people like me do not respect or think high of such people. Most people say what is trute about Dhoni...he is an below average player and ordinary captain.
